Deteste's build is similar to that of a coon hound with a large rib cage that narrows towards the hips. Wiry muscle wraps his thin physique and his strength stems from his thighs, shoulders and jaws. His face is narrow with a square jaw. His lips and maw riddled by scars. De's awry and toothsome smile is the most dominant characteristic on his face followed by his clear and piercing cerulean eyes. He wears a belt of pure obsidian, not peppered or broken by any blaze, that in certain light is iridescently blue. Though De's lanky body gives the impression of youth, his many scars create the illusion of age. The most prominent of his scars are those found on his forelimbs and a series of scratches that stretch from his stomach to his left thigh and knee. His right ear is notched.
