The weather had become cooler with each day, the nights beginning to last longer as well. Dhiren could feel the fall season slowly slipping from Sawtooth, meaning winter wouldn't be too far behind. A soft sigh slipped from his lips as he sat at the entrance of his den, watching the morning. So far, the day would promise a clear, blue sky and colorful trees. Maybe the events that would fold out would be just as promising. As was part of his morning routine, Dhiren's gaze left the nature and landed on Guinevere's den. He was becoming more defensive about her, craving her more and more as the days went by. He didn't want anyone near the den, except for him and his immediate family. What if the male decided to try and enter their home, kidnapping Guin again in the process? That was something he wouldn't be able to handle...not a second time... Dhiren pushed such thoughts from his head before rising to stretch all four legs. Their relationship still had to be worked on...and fresh air, too. The woman was not there, which had Dhiren questioning her whereabouts. Instead of standing around like a dope, he left his home and went to look for her. His nose caught ahold of her scent, still fresh from the early morning coolness, and he increased his pace to hurriedly come across her. After going through a few rows of trees, he appeared near the Springs. An eyebrow rose and he finally saw her russet-colored face laying on the rim of one of the large pools of water. A smile crossed his face and he slowly approached her, letting his scent rise and fall on the nearby autumn breezes. Speech, |
