The endless day held a wealth of promise for a little creature such as Illaria, who's life branched out in weeks behind her and held an utterly endless possibility before her. Her den and home was almost in the centre of the territory of Solstice, giving her so much room to explore before she even came near the edge of the world she knew. She had come out of the den on her lonesome a few times now. The rules of the pups imprisonment seemed more fluid of late and she felt she could get away with the sneaking and exploring more easily. Of course, the pup made full use of the holes and constantly was out now, branching further out from where she had first explored until the day where she found the scent border.

It was something wholly new to her and she found herself sticking her nose against it and breathing in the familiar aromas of her mum and dad. She looked out further, and into territory unknown to her and realised that out there there was no scent of the pack wolves she had come to know. She stood right on the edge of Solstice, peering out as far as she could, wrinkling her nose in wonder and waiting to see if something might jump out at her.

He and his siblings weren't really supposed to be so far from the dens... it was something that would nag the dark boy as he wandered off, but it wouldn't deter him. Breaking rules was something that he would accept doing as long as he had a good reason for it - and his reason today? Illaria was pretty far away from their den. He was partially worried about the girl, but she was getting big pretty quick and was already taller than him. He was more curious about what she was doing out here... The boy would slink through the shadows the woods provided, his nose low to the ground as he followed Illaria's scent. She was around here, the trail wasn't very old anymore... but it was joined by an odd mixture of his parents that was always present but not usually this strong. Keiran squinted, mom and dad were further in the territory, right?

They had never left Solstice, this... must be where it ended. He was distracted when he joined Illaria, standing beside her and looking out into the unexplored parts of Alacritia. Anything past these strong marks left by their parents, was not home. "We're not supposed to be out here." The boy said, but there was an underlying tone of mischief that warbled beneath his warning words. "You ever wonder why?" In sheltering the children, it left them with a need to know that was quite strong. If his sister didn't provide an answer, he was truly ready to find out.

Illaria was so enraptured with her view out into the unknown words that she would miss the sound of another small creature making its way towards her. When his voice reached out in the spaces between them she jumped and whirled about, only to be confronted with the familiar figure of her brother. She giggled, realising thoughts of the outside world had made her jumpy, after all anything could be out there! She thought for a moment and his words became clear, he had warned her that they where not suppose to be out there. She narrowed her eyes, wondering if she would have to coerce the boy into trouble making with her.

She knew he wasn't wholly against the idea however, with the glint of trouble in his eyes that underlined his next words, changing their meaning into more of a challenge in her eyes then a question. “I bet they don't think we can handle it” she scoffed, as through the thought was silly beyond reason.
