Mornings were always the canine?s favorite time of day, thou the night was close behind it. When the brilliant warm sun rose over the horizon to brighten and warm the once cool and dark night, bring life to the world. Maverick?s closed his warm digits, bi colored lifted into the chilly air as nostrils flared. The lupus took in the scent of the cool wet wind that swayed the bare trees and the vague delicate smell of fallen autumn flowers around him. The battle wore lupus could feel the sun?s rays peak through the towering tree tops and shine down on his ebony and rich golden coat. The warm rays soaked through his pelt and into his skin, warming him ever more as he enjoyed the sight of a new day.
The scarred canine held his head high in the sight of this new day, his tail high slightly curled at the tip in towards his back, and ears shifted back and forth with every new sound he heard in his new surroundings. Maverick?s muzzle open wide in a large yawn, his blacken lips pealed back by force of this yawn as his pearl white canines were revealed and his darker colored tongue recoiled back in response. After a restless night of unpleasant nightmares, the beast kept on the move while he searched for a morning snack. A low grumble rumbled in the male?s athlete body as he hoped to find something soon.

The orange and cream dame listened to the sounds of the morning begin to surround her. She couldn't help but smile at the scenery as her paws stretched as she greeted the morning sun with a joyful bark. Her topaz optics looked around her with delight as the smell of fresh food began to surround her nostrils, causing them to twitch as the scent began to take hold of her, and her stomach grumbling in anticipation for the meat to enter her gullet. Her salmon paw pads began to brush against the dried grass due to the more cooler air. Her lobes twitched. Happiness came over her as she could see a large harem of elk grazing on the dead grass that filled the ground, her salmon tongue gliding over her. Her white paws and legs hid her well as she also stayed downwind so that the prey did not notice her.
When she happened to come upon an elder elk, the elk began to take notice of her and began to try and confuse her, but, she already knew which one she wanted as the dame bolted toward the female elk. The elk noticed this and bellowed out to Huata, but, she went from the side and snapped down and pushed the elderly elk down with all the strength she could muster, snapping the neck easily. Once the elk was surely deceased, the woman began to snap down on the snack and tear into the flesh as crimson blood ran down her throat and staining her muzzle.

Mornings were always the canine’s favorite time of day, thou the night was close behind it. When the brilliant warm sun rose over the horizon to brighten and warm the once cool and dark night, bring life to the world. The lupus closed his warm eyes as he listened to the valley, his bi colored lifted into the air as his nostrils flared. The canine took in the scent of dried leaves that swayed in the light chilly breeze, cold wet moisture from the lazy river, and open prey off in the distance swirled around him. The battle wore lupus could feel the suns’ rays peak through the towering hill sides and shine down on his black and golden coat. The warm rays soaked through his pelt and into his skin, warming him ever more as he enjoyed the sight of a new day.
It was when the male caught the scent of a lone delicious feminine when a devilish smirk spread across his blacken lips, his rich citrine digits opened and his muzzle leveled out. The best part was. The she wolf was alone. Of course, the female may not be a lone for long. The scent of her forced a pulsed of a thrilling adrenaline through his veins. The creature felt frisky all of a sudden. But the sensation was swiftly pushed away as soon as he fell into a light confident trot in the direction of her scent, his nostrils flared in search for this female in the area.
When Maverick finally spotted the light colored female off in the distance, the canine was careful to stay hidden for a moment as he paused. His orbs observed the female canine, waiting and watching for warning signs not to proceed. But after the female lupus tackled an elk to the ground, the male canine emerged out into the open. His stance was regal, tail high yet low enough to show no harm. A playful soft expression fell on his face, movements smooth as liquid gold as he approached the female once she was she brought the prey down. “Nice catch,” the male spoke smoothly with a smile, a true huntress before his very own eyes, “Did your mother teach you how to hunt?” On that query, Mav tried to look more masculine to the lovely female. He could sense no mate and no pack. With him getting older each day, the male wanted to find a mate and start a pack of his own. She could be a possible future mate. He stood taller with stiffed muscular legs, his chest out with head high, tail high slightly curled towards his back, and ears erect like a dominate wolf he was. A playful grin played along his lips as the wolf waited for a response.

When she had finished some of the elk, her topaz optics would shift over when she noticed the sound of paws against the frozen landscape. The snow crunched underneath larger paws her topaz audits focused in on a dark yet light brute. He was definitely a muscular creature, a slight blush forming underneath her cheeks as the warm sensation caught her off guard. His voice sounded kind, but she was not sure if he was playing around with her or not, but, she would play around with him as well if he so wished, but not right now. The orange and crème dame smiled at the male and focused in on his eyes, her orbs shining in the sunlight like a gem would. Her crème paws and legs moved to face him as her tail flicked slightly, soon showing her low status that was a loner.
"Salutations, Sir, and no, though she did teach me how to fish. I have been alone for some time now, and I have basically taught myself how to hunt. My name is Huata, may I ask your name?" She asked, her tail swaying from side to side in a friendly and calm gesture, her eyes showing their beauty to the brute before her, happy that she would at least have someone to talk to. "Oh, pardon my rudeness, but would you like some of my elk?" She moved out of the way so that he could eat some if he wished to.
