big foot
The purple nymph would take a stroll across the wolf paw lake, liking the rather peaceful and silent vibe that it gives of. Desire? was used to being alone, the island was rather desolate and scarce of any wolves, which was a rather big change. Though she hadn't minded that much, it was a break that she happily welcomed and enjoyed. But now she was back, and wished to become comfortable with the surroundings around her. Her eyes would drink in the scenery around her, crown tilting slightly in order to look upon the silver moon. It was the only light that was given of, guiding her through the strange lands, the darkness consuming her petite frame whole. Her ears would twitch slightly at the faint movements within the distance, which she would presume was a small prey or something, though she would still be on guard. She knew never to be to comfortable wherever she was. A sigh would slip her lips, small paws carrying her towards the lake. She would sit near the side, looking upon her mirrored reflection. A paw would trace the water, messing up the reflection. She had covered up her scent not to long ago, preferring the thought of not having scents of other wolves upon her. For now, she simply smelt of nature. Earth, flowers, grass, of anything really.
Pandora had returned from her journey to the Southern Hemisphere, discovering a new land and its inhabitants. It had been interesting, but she was still on the fence about going back for a second adventure. Until then, she would enjoy the nostalgia of being back home. The lake had become her hideaway from the world, the place no one knew about except her. At least, that's how she liked to think about it. Seclusion was nice, but after awhile, the loneliness would kick in.
Loneliness was what she was feeling that night. After waking up from her afternoon nap, she had realized the stars and moon were out to greet her once again. A lustful image of her waking up next to Viviek to the scenery rose in her mind and she gave a wistful sigh. If only she knew where he was. He had promised her so much...and she had foolishly believed him. Maybe she was destined to be alone for the rest of her long life.
After her small pity party, she rose to all fours and set out. Winter was harsh for the young girl, especially since it was her first official heat. Another sigh slipped from Pandora's dark lips as she walked through the nearby foliage. Once spring came her way, she would feel better and not be so wrapped up in the company of another. That's what she hoped, anyway. Silently, she stepped through the trees to face the lake. So beautiful.
It was then that she saw a figure laying beside the edge. Even in the darkness, Pandora could see the purple tint of the wolf's fur. Her tail began to wag and she slowly started to walk towards the familiar stranger's back. Sidestepping to her left so the wolf could see her, she cleared her throat and offered, "Aunt Desiree? Is it really you?"
