PANTHEON PACK
“By not trusting everything to fortune.”
Pantheon is a lawful neutral pack that values loyalty above all else. While Pantheon is built around the family of the Matriarch and Patriarch, all members of the pack are expected to treat and protect each other like they are blood relatives, whether they are or not. Pantheon offers a home and family to any who are willing to do this and contribute to the well-being of the pack through whatever means necessary. All of Pantheon's members are expected to train and constantly better themselves and their skills. Everyone must train in fighting at least well enough to protect themselves.
The pack resides in the Sycari Strip and the Avian Estuary, a pair of lands located on a peninsula off the western shore of Alacritia. The only land access to Pantheon is a narrow strip of land between two small rivers. Two islands, Scaled and Silver, are located just off the coast.
***JOINING/ALLIANCE THREADS MUST BE POSTED IN THE AVIAN ESTUARY, AS WOLVES WOULD HAVE TO TRESPASS TO GET TO THE SYCARI STRIP***
Pack color: #676767
Claimed territories: Avian Estuary, Sycari Strip
Former leaders: Natalya and Helios Olympus, Phoebe Olympus

PACK RANKS
– Patriarch (1) – The highest powers in Pantheon, the Matriarch or Patriarch hold the highest authority in the pack and are not to be questioned. At least one of them must be a member of the Olympus family. They are traditionally a married couple, but this does not have to be the case if the already instated Olympus family member decides otherwise. [Can accept new members]
– Matriarch (1) – The highest powers in Pantheon, the Matriarch or Patriarch hold the highest authority in the pack and are not to be questioned. At least one of them must be a member of the Olympus family. They are traditionally a married couple, but this does not have to be the case if the already instated Olympus family member decides otherwise. [Can accept new members]
– Prince/Princess (1) – The future successor to the Pantheon throne, this will be a wolf of the family. Traditionally, the Prince or Princess would be selected from the children of the Matriarch and Patriarch. The Prince or Princess will be training to be the next Matriarch or Patriarch. Should the Patriarch or Matriarch fail in their duties the Prince or Princess will take the throne.
– Atomist (1) – This is the lead healer and will serve as the chief advisor to the Matriarch and Patriarch. They are traditionally of Olympian blood, but if none of the family are qualified for this position a non-family member may be considered. They are to be highly skilled in the art of healing and shall hold the duty of training and monitoring the Antiatomists. [Can accept new members]
– Ephors (2) - The Ephors are essentially the Betas of the pack. They do not have to be a mated pair and can be either family members or non. Their primary purpose will be to evaluate pack laws and policies and revising them as needed. They can also act in a disciplinary manner if necessary, but the ruling pair's word will always hold the final say.[Can accept new members]
– Apella (3) - These are respected pack members. They are to handle the day to day needs of the pack and will handle tasks as assigned to them by the Matriarch, Patriarch, or Ephors. They will be responsible for making sure that both the pups and elderly of the pack are cared for and comfortable. These wolves can be Olympus family members or non.
– Peltast (1) – This is the lead warrior. They are expected to hold training sessions regularly for the pack and should Pantheon ever go to war they will stand at the front lines with the Patriarch. They can be Olympian or non and will be chosen based on their skills and loyalty to the pack.
– Strategos (1) - This is the lead hunter. Their main concern is to be keeping the pack well fed. They will hold a pack hunt at least twice a year: Once in the Spring and once in the Fall. Other hunts are welcomed, but not required. They can be Olympian or non and will be chosen based on their skills and loyalty to the pack.
– Antipeltast/Antistrategos/Antiatomist (∞) - The warriors, hunters, and healers, respectively. They are the main populous, and are respected due to their usefulness. All are expected to participate in regular training to prove their worth in their specialties and to hone their skills. Warriors will also be expected to guard any prisoners in Pantheon as part of their duties.
– Proxenos (∞) - The Proxenoi are any children under a year of age. Once they have become yearlings they will be assigned a mentor for the specialty of their choosing and once their mentor has deemed them ready they will be promoted into the appropriate rank.
- Spartiate (∞) - These are the members of Pantheon who have not chosen their specialty. These might be members that have just joined or perhaps someone who chose a specialty and ended up not being well suited for it. They will be expected to choose a specialty as soon as possible and will help out around the pack however they can until then.
– Gerouse (∞) - The Gerousia are the Elders of the pack, pack members who have reached the age of 8. They are exempt from participation in duties, but are highly encouraged to participate when they can. They are to be constantly respected and cared for. Many of these members take to looking after the children of the pack to occupy their time.
– Slave (∞) - Slaves may be wolves forced into service or those who volunteer. They are to be treated fairly as long as they serve the wolves they are bound to.
– Prisoner (∞) - Prisoners may be taken for numerous reasons, but pack members are held to no standards regarding their treatment or respect. They are to be guarded at all times and force may be used to subdue them if necessary by their guards. |

PACK RULES, CUSTOMS, & HISTORY
Rules:
- All members of the pack will be expected to prove that they are able to defend themselves. Regular training is a necessity and will be required of children from the time they are able to leave the den.
- All pack members must make an effort to contribute to the pack and select a specialty as either Antipeltasts, Antistrategoi, or Antiatomists (unless chosen for higher titles).
- Loyalty is of the utmost importance in Pantheon. Pack members are free to come and go as they please, but must keep any plans Pantheon has within the pack. If a member wishes to leave to join another pack, the Matriarch and Patriarch must be immediately notified so that they may determine whether allowing said member to leave would pose a risk to the pack. The Matriarch and Patriarch are the only members with the right to make this determination and when a decision is rendered, the member must obey. Any members who do not follow these rules will be demoted to Prisoners and will be treated as such.
- The Matriarch or Patriarch must approve of all potential litters in order to ensure that the pack will not become overfilled and that resources will not become scarce.
- Wolves may challenge for ranks they are eligible for, but all challenges must be approved by the Matriarch and Patriarch. The leaders do not want wolves challenging for ranks they are not well-suited for simply because they are stronger.
- Disrespecting allies in any way is prohibited. Punishments for violating this rule will be decided based on the severity of the crime. Rape of any wolf is prohibited and will be punished severely.
- Wolves who do not wait at the border and are caught trespassing on Pantheon soil are to be given only one warning before being attacked. All pack members are expected to be on guard for this and to be prepared to attack if necessary.
- There will often be events within the pack to raise pack morale and camaraderie. These events include a pack wide hunt every Spring and celebrations before any marriages within the pack along with any other fun events the Patriarch or Matriarch think of!
- Slaves/Prisoners may only be taken by members ranked Tier 3 and above, and only in circumstances approved by the Matriarch and Patriarch.
- Other rules may be added at any time if a need is found for them.
Pack History:
After the loss of Olympus at the hands of Katja, Helios and Natalya fled with their family and few remaining pack members to regroup and rebuild. The loss of Apollo, the oldest remaining son of Helios and Natalya is felt very deeply, and upon the creation of Pantheon he and his lover as well as their son Hypnos and the betrothed of Gaia Olympus are branded traitors.
At the discovery of Natalya’s fatal illness, the pack is handed down to Phoebe Olympus, who held the rank of Delphi at the time. After a few seasons as Matriarch, Phoebe became too stressed to handle the position any longer after Natalya's death and her husband's disappearance. She then handed the pack down to Helios and Natalya's son Hercules.

Pantheon Activity Rules:
Inactivity in Pantheon will be taken very, very seriously. Penalties will be harsh and very few warnings will be given out. Generally, a lack of activity will automatically mean removal from the pack. Please read the rules carefully to be sure that you understand them. Also, be sure to check the pack lands and front page news regularly so that you don't miss any requirements.
General Posts Required | All members will be expected to make at least 3 posts per OOC month. Posts in pack meetings do not count toward this. Wolves Tier 3 and up will be expected to make at least 5 posts per OOC month. Posts in pack meetings do not count toward this. |
Mandatory Meeting & Event Requirements | Pack meetings will be held once or twice per season, with events occurring at randomly decided times. Attendance is mandatory for all members at any meetings or events. Mandatory training sessions for the whole pack may occur from time to time and will be denoted as such. |
Rank Specific Requirements | The Atomist, Peltast, and Strategos must hold training sessions at least once every other season for their respective Antis, or for the pack as a whole. More training sessions are encouraged, this is simply what is required. |
Penalties & Exceptions | In mandatory meetings, events, and trainings wolves will have only two opportunities to post. Those who post in the SECOND ROUND after missing the FIRST ROUND will be subject to IC punishment from the alphas. Those who fail to post will be automatically removed from the pack (unless you are on absence). Rank specific meetings and trainings will have only one required round and those who fail to post will be automatically demoted and subject to punishment by the alphas. *Pups will not be removed from the pack, for obvious reasons. They will only face harsher punishments for repeated absences/lateness. Members who are absent or have some other compelling reason will be exempt from posting requirements and members who are scarce will be granted extensions, but must contact Shelby. This will save from me having to sift through site absences every time a meeting is held. Names and exemptions will be listed here. |
