Taking Shelter

The rest off her family had come back to the den, except for probably one of her parents; she didn't stay long enough to find out. She recognized the sound of her brother and sister from anywhere. They were so loud and noisy, well maybe it was just her. Or Charon, who knew. She darted from the den before being seen and leaped into the tall grasses that grew lush here in summer. But of course she didn't know that yet, but she didn't really understand that one day she would be walking belly deep in the grasses. She was running toward the river that split two fields in the center, but was suddenly stopped by Charon who joined her hiding in these plains. "We can finally be alone." He whispered seductively. But as always, Chione didn't understand his tone or what he was really asking for. When would she understand? "Yeah Charon, whadd're we ganna do?" She gently whispered giving a playful giggle ready to play with her best friend. Walk "Talk" Think |
