The jubilant yearling had traveled back East, from the southern lands that she'd taken a liking too. She moved at a bouncy trot,  and happy little hum leaving her as she sniffed around the grounds near the base of the giant rock before her. The air here was acidic, and she wondered why. What was up there? Why was this mountain of rock different then others? Why did it smell so bad?! Staring up at it, she gave a confused snort. If Breen was here, he'd know what to do. He'd know what it was. He'd explain it to her. Why had she left home? Shaking off the sad thoughts, she bounced away hopping around to investigate the dark puddles on the ground. The water was murky and she sniffed it carefully. Was it safe to drink? Tentatively she lapped at some of the droplets. It didn't taste bad, and she didn't realize how thirst she was. When she was done, she bounced through the puddle, casting water all over herself.

She didn't care that she was a mess. Whom did she have to impress? No soon had she thought that, did she smell another wolf- and she turned towards the scent. "Hello?!" She nearly shouted her tone excited. "Who's there?!" She called, her tail waving behind her. A friend?! She needed a friend! Bouncing slightly, she'd hope they'd show themselves.

She remembers this place--remembers the dark wolf on the slopes, remembers learning from her some of Kaios' misdeeds. Audits tip back as she roams her way up the mountain, quiet, contemplative. She knew that her return would not be heralded with trumpets and bugles. No creature ever liked truly being treated how they had treated another, and those of Sawtooth were no exception. Trailing her way up the rock proves therapeutic to her slight stress, the exertion of pulling her aging body up the sulfuric surface a familiar comfort. Mercury trudges beside her, struggling, though not for long; Jupiter soon lifts him onto her back, nestling him just above her shoulder blades. The tasmanian devil gives an appreciative huff.

A voice calls out from above and she realizes that she has been scented, her smell sweeping upwards with the breeze. Head tilts at the lack of panic in those queries, intrigued. The woman pauses in her ascension a few yards away, looking up at the light-pelted creature. Brow raises at the dirty hue the youth has taken on from her frolicking in the waters, at the way her damp pelt clings to her small frame to give the appearance of a wet rat.

"Greetings," she rumbles bemusedly, audit flicking. Celestial eyes draw over the she-wolf with mild but detached interest, calculating, pondering, searching for even an ounce of opportunistic potential in the yearling.

crawl. crawl more. drag your hands and knees across the destruction left in my wake to the ends of the earth. there's a green light of a shining star in my sky and there will not be an obstacle i will not overcome until i cup that star in my palms. the void in my will has been filled with purpose. so crawl. crawl more, love.
because i like it when you're on your knees.

Eagerly she would wait, but it isn't for long. A bright wolf approaches her, with fur colors that she has never seen before. Remy had never seen a wolf with such vibrant colors. She must be a happy wolf to be such happy colors! Turning to face her fully, the small she-wolf would bounce slightly- energy radiating from her body. "Hi! I'm Remy! Who're you?!" She chirps happily. Her pale cream lids fluttering over her cerulean eyes. A bright smile pulled at her jaws, revealing her young teeth and she waited on edge for the other wolf to reply. "Whatcha doing out here? Coming to see the big smelly rock?" She asked, rambling on with little regard to how annoying her incessant chatter could be. "I've never seen such a weird looking rock- or such weird looking lands period- until I came here." That was true- the forest she'd been raised in was quite plain, and truthfully, she hadn't yet found a forest that was even similar in appearance. She bounced slightly on her toes, and her tail waved madly behind her. "You have a really odd colored coat." She comments lightly, before glancing at her own wet and muddy cream fur. A flush of embarrassment heats her cheeks and she shuffles slightly, pressing her paws under her slightly and sinking to the ground to cover her muddy feet. Her tail stilled, and she frowned slightly, as she realized that she looked a wreck.
