Warja stared blankly at the entrance to her den. Or, rather, she stared at the dent in the snow where she thought the entrance to her den might be. Heavy snowfall + strong wind + poor planning = a snow-filled den. She sighed and stepped forward, sinking up to her elbows in snow as she fished around for the exact location. Finding it, the little fae dove into the snow and set about clearing it out.

Scratching and clawing, Warja sent arcs of snow flying out behind her. Her mind wandered while she worked. As usual she was getting restless. Secretua was well and good, and she loved being near her family, but nothing compared to the freedom that came with roaming. After venturing to the southern continent Warja had realized just how little of Alacritia she had seen. She was desperate to rectify this and had half a mind to hunt Kismet down and drag him off on an adventure. But no, she'd just went on one. It was only fair that she spent some time at home before running off again.

Time would be up soon enough and she could go north or south, or wherever she wanted. Until then, she could dream, right? ...or maybe she could take off under the guise of recruiting. Secretua was in need of new members, so at the very least it was worth considering.

Kismet didn't need much persuading to go anywhere with Warja really. It was apparent that whilst they had grown they hadn't grown out of the little adventures they used to share on the island together. Now they had grown however the pack territory simply didn't cut it, there was far more out in the world to see after all though unfortunately they didn't have all the time in the world for games anymore. Kismet for example had recently found himself the selected company of their Guardian for a patrol, or perhaps victim for interrogation by Rune was the correct way to word it. He was getting used to the man, beginning to think that perhaps Rune didn't completely hate him though it was certainly slow progress, little did he realise that went both ways.

Even if they were trapped in the pack lands though, Kismet would still be sure to find a way to spend time with his dearest friend whenever he got the chance. Now was one of those moments and he had wandered around attempting to find her, hoping that she too had some time to herself. Instead however when he eventually tracked the girl down he'd find simply half of her, the upper portion of her body frantically scrapping around within the snow. "Lost something?" He enquired as he came to a stop a safe enough distance away from the snow shower that her busy digging scattered out behind her.

A voice beyond the confines of her den caused the black masked fae to pause. Kismet? She wormed backwards far enough so that she could look over her shoulder at him. Her movements started a small avalanche of snow and as a result, a little mound of it piled up on Warja's head and nose. She sneezed, her head shaking as a result, an some of her snow hat fell to the ground.

What was the question? Oh, if she had lost something. Funny boy. It was a shame her family didn't seem that fond of him. With a straight face, she quipped, "Yeah, my den." She quirked a brow at him. What could he possibly have to say to that? Come on, funny boy. Impress me.

Would he be here to help her? Kismet wasn't sure yet though he would certainly assist her if he could and if she wanted him to. He was however apparently adding to the work load, the hole already starting to cave in as she backed out of the little tunnel, a little pile settling upon her head as well. It was an amusing look certainly, and had the roles been reversed Kismet certainly wouldn't have been surprised if Warja had laughed at him. Kismet on the other hand contained himself it perhaps helped to do so when she explained what she had lost.

How did you lose your den? Well he could see how actually, the snow clearly had covered it. "That's some pretty bad luck." He commented. His own den, last time he'd checked anyway was still clear and he hadn't seen others of the pack half submerged in snow as they attempted to find the entrance to their den and make it accessible once more. Had it filled with snow as well? She'd certainly be at this task for a while if it had. "Need a hand?"

"That's some pretty bad luck," he commented, and in response Warja snorted. "It was a pretty bad storm, but that's what I get for my poor planning. I should have dug the entrance over there," she said, jerking her head to the left.

"Need a hand?" Hm. She could use some help, but how exactly they'd both in the hole was beyond her. "Help would be lovely, but I don't think we'll both fit," she said with a smile. And they couldn't really take turns either. The den had been dug out with Warja's size in mind and there was no way Kismet could fit,  and although the idea of her having to pull him out by his tail amused her greatly, she decided to spare him the embarrassment.

Warja quickly dismissed the matter of luck being involved at all, putting the blame squarely upon herself. Well perhaps it was partially the case, a different location may have coped better in the storm but he still certainly wouldn't fault her in such a manner. A grin would still spread across his features at her response and he glanced over to the spot she had mentioned.

Mismatched eyes would fall back upon her as he offered a hand, though she was quick to turn down the offer, it sounded like he'd just get in the way really than be able to help her at all. Of course he knew nothing about the fact that the den and entrance to it would be more than a little cramped for the big oaf he was but he would simply nod his head understandingly all the same. "Want me to just leave you to it then?" He questioned, frankly not sure what else he could do. Evidently she had to clear the den if she hoped to rest anywhere tonight.

He offered to leave and Warja frowned. That was a horrible idea. A stupid, selfless, downright chivalrous idea...and she loathed it. "No." The single word was simple and left no room for arguing. No, he wasn't allowed to leave. Now that he was here he had to stay - silly boy - even if that meant he just got to stand there and do nothing.

Okay, no. That wasn't fair. Stepping back from her work, Warja gave Kismet the once over, eying him as if she were trying to figure out what to do with him. "You know, you've followed me all over the place." All over two continents, actually. "I think it's time you did the leading for once." She quirked an eyebrow at him. "Whaddya say, Kismet? Wanna go on an adventure?" Just in case he hadn't gotten the idea... "And pick the destination?"

Of course it was also in some ways rather ridiculous to arrive and then leave just like that, Warja was his friend and even he didn't really like the idea even if he'd been the one to suggest it. Warja's blunt response would soon put an end to that thought, he wouldn't leave her alone but then what was he supposed to do? It wasn't like a conversation was easy given she'd be partially buried in the snow again soon, so was he really meant to just sit there?

Warja would withdraw from the snow-covered den however, and it seemed that she had a plan of sorts. Her words were true, though he had been the one to find her often, he had never actually chosen their next destination, simply leaving that one up to Warja. He never really cared where they went, so long as they were together and she never picked a dull place either. "Now?" He enquired. He was over-thinking things of course. Warja still had a submerged den, could they really just take off from the pack again already then of course there was the matter that he had no idea where to take her.

"Now?" Good god, man, the answer is 'yes!' not another question! Warja shrugged. "It's your adventure, so whenever you want." She eyed the dent she'd made in the den's entrance. "It's not going anywhere, so I can work on it later just as well as I can work on it now." Spring was on its way; it was possible that by the time they got back the snow would be gone and she wouldn't have to do anymore digging.

The choice was entirely his; she wasn't going to say anything to influence his decision in any way. If he wanted to go now, great, if not, later would be just as great. Warja was in no hurry.
