(OOC: Assuming they live with Darrah.) Alvin quickly made an exit of the den and off into the frosted grasses of the plains. The morning made him restless to get out and away from the scents of the other inside. He was actually pretty obedient with Darrah, though that probably wouldn't last very long.  He never paid mind to his other siblings, didn't know how they were handling Esper's death. But Alvin didn't think much of it. Maybe that's why it wasn't so heart breaking. He had to be "Mr. Tough Guy" without ties to anyone. He couldn't possibly be all soggy over his mother. He stopped before some of the taller grasses in the meadow, standing wide eyed and alert to what was going on around him. Well besides who ever was coming out of their den, he was completely oblivious to them.  He wanted to go out and run across the border and meet other lovely wolves instead of stay here and stick with the old neighboring ones. But he knew better than to venture out into the colds and possibly blizzards outside the pack. He felt the security of it, but he felt like he didn't really need that wall of protection. He was still invincible in his own world. Walk "Talk" Think

Mingan could hear the movement of his brother walking out of the den. It was only recently that their mother died, and he sighed and looked over to his brother. He always had to play tough guy, and with that, Mingan did not have a tight relationship with Alvin, and Alvin probably did not to anyone else. He stood up and approached his brother, "Where are you going?" He spoke in a monotone voice. He did not like to see his brother being the tough guy he was, for he was not one to be tough, he was just a weakling in his eyes, but, he still cared for his brothers and hated to see them get hurt or killed because of the stupid things they may do.

"Mother said to stay with Darrah and listen to him. Do you even care that she's dead?" He spoke, sitting down and looking in his brother's eyes. Sadness was in his voice for his mother was buried the day he died. He cared for his brothers and everyone he met, and hated to see that Alvin did not even care that she was gone it would seem. His dual colored eyes focused on his brother's eyes, and his ears were erect so he could hear his brother more.

Mingan would come out after Alvin, but as he asked his first and simple question, Alvin stayed looking out over the frosty plains like he wasn't listening. But the question wouldn't linger long, or at all really, because he answered rather quickly. "No where you need to know." But almost instantly, he brought up Esperanza. Alvin's expression changed, he turned his head only slightly as if to hide it away from his brother but he kept his gaze out looking over towards the rapids. Did Alvin care? maybe deep, deep inside. Esper had left them here alone was more like it to him.  "Who does care. She was just some lady like everyone else." His eyes remained outward, not making contact with his brother as his voice let out a coarse tone. Heartless? maybe so. But somewhere down in his cold heart he missed his mother. Walk "Talk" Think

Mingan snarled, he did not like his brother thinking like that. She was the wolf that gave birth to them, and the thought of that really hurt him as he approached his brother even closer, "What?!" His snarl could be heard easily as he soon ran in front of his brother, eyes meeting his brother's. "She was the wolf that gave birth to us! She cared for us when our father died, and all you can say is that she is just another wolf? She died from illness, she cared more than anything about us. and I could easily see it in her eyes. Wake up, Alvin, cause your attitude will more than likely cause you to not have any friends," he spoke the truth and his heart out to his brother. He tried to be like the guardian figure to his brother alongside Darrah since he was watching them. His eyes shown rage, as his teeth were slightly noticeable, showing the anger that was boiling inside of him.

Alvin continued to look out over the lands until his brother abruptly intersected his view. Mingan's furious glare didn't faze him. Alvin rose his head and turned it too the side as if his brother had three heads. He really wasn't scarred of him. Maybe because Mingan was his brother? Either way. Yes, Esper gave birth to them. Yes she fed them, yes she cared for them. But very little did Alvin even know that he cared. How could anyone know. He lowered his head to make it a normal height to his little body, trying to not look too intimidating. He wasn't trying to be threatening for once. "I don't need anyone." This time, his voice had the attitude that Mingan was speaking of. But honestly, Alvin really didn't need anyone. He could make it out in the world alone. He could survive that way. So long as he never felt anything to hold him down. Walk "Talk" Think

Mingan was shocked to hear the words that came out of his brother's voice. I don't need anyone. Mingan glared menacingly at his brother, his tone deep yet he was not yelling at his brother this time. "We all need friends and family in this world, Alvin, or we die alone. You may care about dying alone, but, you are my brother and I care about you, even if it may seem I don't.. So go ahead and say your words and play your tough guy act, but that will not get you anywhere in this world." He soon walked away, but then turned his head back to his brother, "And, I may seem weak compared to you, but, even I can be strong and intimidating if I put my mind to it."

"Well I don't!"  He shouted at his brother. Holding himself back was no longer an option for his temper. His brother was asking for it, and Alvin wasn't just going to let it slide any more. "I want to die alone!" I don't want to hurt people when I go.  It was a thought that vaguely hit his ears. The boys had no father, not even someone they could look to as a father. And now, not even half a year old and their mother just dies of some... illness. Alvin didn't want that to happen. He didn't want to destroy others when he left. Only when they could still fight back. Mingan had turned away, but he stopped quickly to speak one last time. I may seem weak, but I can be intimidating. And it had finally struck his nerve. It was over, he was destroying someone now. He could never come back as Mingan's "brother." "Really?" And evil chuckle came in between his sentences, "Then show me!" And then he jumped forward and lunged himself at him, mouth wide open trying to take hold of his right cheek bone. His ears were pinned back so that Mingan couldn't get a hold of one. Alvin tried to wrap his front legs around Mingan's shoulders to try and push him to the ground. Alvin vs Mingan for Dominance  Round 1/2? Mingan became shocked from his brother trying to fight him. He was not a fighter, and never thought he would be fighting his brother. He evaded his brother's attack by turning to the side and leaping from his grasp. He was not afraid of his brother, and even if he did lose, he would not be afraid and have his tail between his legs. Mingan ran over and tackled his brother to the ground by pushing his down with his paws with as much force as he could muster. He folded his ears back so that his ears were protected in case his brother were to bite them. He tried to graze his brother's ear since he thought he would not have time to protect them right away.

Alvin Vs. Mingan, Round 1-2

Mingan was able to swiftly move away from Alvin's grip, Alvin snapping his mouth shut after realizing that he had not moved quickly enough. He followed Mingan with his eyes, paws moving with Mingan he started to lunge toward him. Mingan was able to force his way ontop of Alvin, most of his power hitting his right shoulder dead on. But Alvin had the strength to keep himself from being pushed to the ground. His ears never left their pinned position on his head, and the force his brother was putting on him made him have a good grip on the frozen ground.  Alvin spotted his brother moving toward his head and tried to lunge a bite to his right  forearm, where the chest, shoulder, and forearm connect (Here). Alvin's movement downward made Mingan's attack to his ear miss. Alvin vs Mingan for Dominance  Round 2/2 Attacks: Bite to right forearm/chest. Mingan winced from the pain that his brother had placed upon him. His eyes were showing anger still as he moved out of the way from his brother as he thought about his attack but watched to see if Alvin did anything else. He ran forward toward his brother, but soon changed sides and tried to snap down upon his neck as his paws pressed down on his brother's left shoulder and his side. His back paws were a little distance away from his brother so he would not knocked away from him, but he could if he tried.

(OOC: I hope the slight powerplay of pushing him off is okay :x) Alvin had a sudden burst of adrenaline, using all his little puppy strength and more to push his brother off of him. He hoped that Mingan would fall to the ground, but either way his posture would rise as high as his shoulders would let him, and his teeth bared menacingly threatening to hurt his brother. He wasn't going to do so, but he wasn't scared to show some attempting violence.  "That's what I thought." He hissed, his tongue lashing out at his showing canines. He would only see Mingan as weak from now on, and he knew that Mingan wouldn't ever see him the same either. The competition was over, or maybe it just started. But Alvin would never forget this day.
