The rains hit the land soaking the soft snow. While he was lucky to b so tall worry filled his heart for everyone in his pack. They needed to get to higher ground if they were within the polar sound. Or try and flee to the mines which he did not see as a good idea. Soaked in warm water his eyes scanned the area paws dragging him as fast as he could through he sticky humid terrain. Raining his head quelt let out a howl to see if any if his members were nearby so that they could find a place of safety together.

The man panted trying to get his breath back as he stopped. He needed to pace himself and calm down. Eyes narrowed as he growled to himself and then became composed standing tall situating his weight. He stepped forward unable to smell anything in this rain but still trying. Hopefully irune and the children were okay. He would not have his kingdom torn apart so soon by a stupid storm. Quelt let out a sigh and then waited focusing his thoughts on the trouble at hand.

His chamber, the whole area was practically flooded with cold water once the man woke up. The echoes of screams and alarming howls filled the air...and Ixionn react immediately. But by the time he realized what was going on...the water began to thrash him against the walls of him chamber, sharp rocks and stones tearing into his flesh. Cries left his lips and blood pooled around him...but all at the same time disappeared into the darkness of the water. The wounds hurt so bad...and giving up was definitely an option. Even if he didn't know what was going on...
A small part of him was praying that Drago was okay. His best friend and traveling buddy. But most of him worried for his family...were they drowning like him, or hidden somewhere safe? Ixionn flailed around in the water and found himself being sucked out of his chamber and toward the exit. Strength was becoming horribly scarce now...he was bleeding, wounded, and that little bit of power left in him was being used up now. Flailing around, trying to keep his head above surface.

The gray male snapped awake at the feel of water soaking his paws. When he looked up, the hallucination was watching him. Like a creature watching cornered prey. Wael struggled to his paws, and the hallucination spoke. It was the first time, and Wael bristled in fear. ?You tried to kill me. Now I try and kill you.? Wael pulled away as the hallucination lunged, his blue eyes wild. Water crashed into him just as it seemed that the hallucination hit, and Wael fell. He opened his jaws before he fell, and water filled his jaws in too much quantity.

He pushed his head over the water, his blue eyes closed as the water blinded him for a few moments. He was hit with another wave of water, this one carrying him. Fear went through him as his legs hit the surface, the male struggling to keep his head up. Was he going to die? Was this going to be his last moments? Scared and drowning, barely able to keep his head over the surface? His head hit the surface of the water again, and he howled weakly, unable to breathe well. The howl was broken off by him coughing.

Wael glanced back at Ixionn, who was being carried away as well. His paws hitting water, the male struggled over to him. He attempted to grab the male?s scruff, but water got in his way, pushing him back. He opened his jaws to speak, but couldn?t say anything. As he was carried away, the water pushed him down once again, this time the male unable to get back up for too long. But he would try. His paws lashed out, hitting something. Wael struggled on top of it, a small piece of wood. As he fell asleep, he fell off.

Always the warrioress was watching, trouble growing in the air. All other members of Isokan had done their daily rounds and now slept, but an impending sense of doom nagged at the tempest to keep awake and alert. In deft motions, she found herself upon a tall stone, which she used to her advantage to gaze upon the skies, taking note of impending clouds and the noise of thunder approaching. Rubies scanned the face of the storm, watching a torrent near. This could not mean anything good. Nobody knew her name, and it would stay that way, but she would remain a mysterious hero only known to the leader of Isokan. Already, a howl of terror was sent to the airwaves, reaching oversized ears with ease as deft paws would begin to stalk throughout the noisy night. Many dens that had been made already were beginning to flood despite the snowy biome. Sleet fell upon her pelt, soaking it within minutes. Between the trees she darted with deadly accuracy, as she heard the sound of fearful clamour of drowning wolves. Ixionn was amongst them. If she did not save him; Quelt would kill her. It was in her heart to search and rescue, and within moments, her senses led the ninja toward the boy, who was struggling to escape. Only her dark markings showed in the darkness, the world having been enclosed in a deathly silence by dark clouds and sleet. His orange fur stood out against the murky water, and the den was small, but she was smaller. A great inhalation of breath would follow as her bodice loomed in the entrance, lunging in and pressing to the left of the boy. He was just slightly bigger than her, but she was strong, and she was able to open her jaws for long enough to get a tight grip upon the scruff of the young man, legs kicking powerfully against the pooling current, lungs screaming for relief. Water pooled into her mouth, but she refused to give up, feeling the young man's body in her grip gave her motivation. With one powerful final kick, she would claw her way out of the den, her head whipping forth quickly to toss the boy out of reach of the flooded chamber, as she pulled herself out, graciously inhaling air. Rubies stared at the boy as she spoke harsh words, almost that of a command. "Find Quelt. Waste no time getting there, you must get to high grounds." With her words she would rush off at the sound of another cry of distress, her rubies flaring with exhaustion already.

The frozen ice had shattered, and near there was her other brother's den, which had been left vacant. The howl of distress had been sent by the poor boy Wael, and he was nowhere to be found. Rubies swathed over the broken up river, seeing a faint blur of slate, as the boy fought against the current, before clambering upon a piece of wood and passing out in relief. His paws slipped, however, and his frame disappeared in the current. Her obsidian legs screamed from exhaustion, but she only pressed on, localizing all her strength to her haunches before lunging into the fray, first landing upon a ice sheet before sliding into the depths of the water. Rubies flashed in the water, as she propelled herself upward, throwing her crown above the surface to gain a breath of air, paddling with haste toward the piece of wood where it had supported her brother once. He was much larger than she, but in the weightless atmosphere of water, she should be able to toss him onto the shore for safety and allow herself to make it to the banks as well. Her limbs would kick against the current, catching up to the lonely piece of driftwood before she would inhale, throwing herself underwater and casting herself through the current, seeking the dark frame of her drowned brother. Lungs screamed again for air, just as she caught sight of her larger brother's frame, her jaws unhinging and closing on his scruff, her legs pushing against the rather shallow bed to launch herself upward, blackness creeping in on her vision from lack of air. Her legs were exhausted, pain searing them like fire, as she threw her crown above the surface of the choppy floodwater, air noisly sucked into her nostrils as water pooled from her lips and onto her brother's sodden fur. She would paddle to her left, scrambling toward the banks to throw her brother's weight and her own upon it to rest for a moment. He was limp in jaws, which made her efforts much easier. Her slate banner caught the small fragments of ice whilst large chunks glided over it, and some would cut into the fur or shave it a little bit, depending on how sharp the facets of it were. Finally the shore would become clear in view, as black dots continued to creep in on her vision from exhaustion, though a bit slower than when she was running out of air to breathe beneath the choppy water's surface. She would push harder, throwing her brother before her to help her move quicker, and as soon as paws scraped solid ground, she would begin to lunge through the water, her brother becoming much heavier due to three pounds of water weight and the lack of the airless atmosphere water offered; they weren't going to dry off anytime soon either, as the torrent of sleet and rain would continue on, cutting into her skin. She just had to find Quelt now, and bring Wael with her.

She would sit and rest for a moment, after nudging her limp brother's body away from the rising waters so he would not be grabbed by it's hungry hands. Her senses drew her in a different direction than the rising waters, meaning she had swam to the right side with her brother's limp bodice. Water pooled from his limp jaws, and a heartbeat meant he wasn't dead. He had a chance. Death wouldn't doom him like his hallucinations would. The ninja would look to his body, her slate tail whisking down his flank. No words would be spoken, for she knew he wouldn't hear, he wouldn't care if he did. The only place he could find safety in was with Quelt. His scent had long since wafted into her nose, warning of his location. He wasn't at high grounds, but he was close. This rekindled her determination, as she stood, water kissing her ankles, as she would reach down and grasp the scruff of her brother, grunting as she would pull her crown up, then slide beneath his raised chest, and let his weight fall evenly on both shoulders, her legs working quickly to close the distance between her and their eldest brother. Hopefully Ixionn had made his way there already, as she would see his frame appear in the distance. At his paws, she let go of their brother, as she gave a small grunt of annoyance, staring into his bicolored orbs with accusation. He had just waited hadn't he, he didn't seem to be worried about getting to higher grounds. The torrent stung at her ears, as thunder cracked overhead. After this hell passed by, she'd have to teach the Olori a little bit about instinct.
