This wasn't good. Not at all. Mira stared in horror as the rapids writhed with white foam, water sloshing up the banks with every movement. Only a few days before it had been gorgeous out... and the past two days, none stop rain. That wasn't the worst, though. The worst was the wind, the frigid wind that chilled to the bone even though it was summer. already Mira was beginning to sniffle, her nose clogging up from the sickness she was beginning to get.

The water sloshed up again, this time even more before. A little of the water touched Mira's paws, and the femme jumped away with a growl. Lightning crackled, followed by a huge clap of thunder that made the wolf whine and flatten her ears from the pain. Wind began to buffet her, making it difficult to keep balance on the soggy, shifting ground. Spreading her toes and digging them into the ground, Mira threw back her head and let out a long howl, hoping she would be heard. The river was flooding, and lightning was hitting trees.

Storms had claimed the lands of Abaven. The plains seemed to be more mild, yet the rain and wind was still making the trees groan. The slight whispered of a howl reached his ears, hardly heard through the winds. As he made his way towards the river, the air around him felt compressed and chilled as it threatened to pull him right off his paws. Hunting would be impossible, and the lake waters had spilled over and threatened to flood like the river before him was starting to do. Squinting his yellow eyes towards the wolf standing there, he carefully picked his way over to Mirabelle. "We need to move to higher grounds!" He called as he got closer, his body almost leaning into the wind. This was dangerous weather, and he needed to move his pack. The plains provided little shelter, and with the river over flowing they would not be safe here. Sadness clouded the alpha's eyes, they needed to leave for the time being. Until these storms calmed, they needed to be safe.

Bass leaped back as lightening struck a tree, making it bow over. The wind ceased the opportunity and ripped it right out of the earth, the roots tearing from their purchase. Letting out a yelp, he dove out of the way as it crashed towards them, pulling Mirabelle with him. Panting he looked behind him, wide eyes looking at where they had just stood. The tree had fallen over the rapids, the roaring water threatening to pull the tree down the rapids with them. Shaking his head, he turned back to the brown female. "We need to gather the pack and make our way towards the Singing Caverns! The caves will keep us safe!" He called again, trying to be heard over the weather. He had never before seen this in his life, and he tipped back his head and howled for the rest of his pack, hoping that Mira would join in to make it louder.

She?d feel the stress and the threat of the storm for hours as she tried to gather her wits and supplies from the pack lands. This storm would be bad. Unfortunately she would not find her brother before the storm hit full on. It was as perfectly terrible as she?d expected. The wind would push her thin body through the trees that threatened to be pulled up by the rough elements. She would watch as the water would rise, but she was alone. She needed to find the rest of the pack.
She?d lose her way in the rough rains and the whipping wind, she would almost miss her brother?s call as her wandering form tried to figure out where she was. She?d use her ears to guide her until she could see her savior brother, calling for her and the rest of the pack. She?d call back desperately as she crawled closer to him, they needed to find shelter, otherwise she was unsure if she?d make it through.

Mira's howl faded away as she saw her alpha, relief flooding her. She hasn't realized just how worried she had been until she set eyes on Bass. "We do!" She called back, "Do you know where everyone is? The pups?" Her voice strained, worry staining it, put of fear for her pack. Her family.

Mira flinched as the lightning struck, and she leapt away, following behind Bass and feeling his weight against her as he shoved her out of the way. Her fur bristled, ears flat against her head. Wide eyes stared at the tree, trapped over the wroth water. Then she heard Bass, or rather, heard a couple words. "We... gather... singing... caves... safe!" Mira whines softly as she tried to piece together what he said. The Singing Caverns? That was the only thing that could make sense.

Her confusion cleared up by his howl. Yes, the Singing Caverns. Mira tipped her head back once more, her call joining his. That call faded quickly as another, desperate howl joined them. She didn't recognize the call, but she didn't care. Pushing her nose forward to touch Bass's shoulder for a moment, she dashed off, following the call. Soon enough she spotted the form, belonging to Rhythm. Rain lashed her, the wind pushing her and trying to tip her as she sprinted.

She skid to a stop, pressing against Rhythm, if she was allowed to. "Come on! We need to make it to the Singing Caverns!" She let out a short, loud howl repeating to Bass, adding another implied message: that she would be back to assist her family.

A massive amount of charcoal clouds gently rolled their way into the rapids. The skies were gray before, rain padding it's way to the river and flooding up the bank. Chrono only stood and watched the threatening clouds approach Abaven lands. Only little rumbling was heard and flashes of grey hit the black skies.

But suddenly a burst of wind hit him at fast speeds, knocking him over as he rolled across the mud, not so much grass anymore. When his stomach made traction to the ground after a few rolls, he dug his claws into the mud and slid around until he finally came to a stop. His eyes caught the tree striking the ground, which was on the same side of the river as he was, and then the three wolves that had gathered themselves together. As his fur tangled itself through the winds, he couldn't think of any possible way to get up and make his way to them.

But then a thought hit him; what about Esper? His now pregnant lover may have been out in the storm, or may have been nestled in their den safe from here. So instead of trying to make his way to his pack members, he tried to crawl his way against the winds and away from the safety they were looking for.

The yearling was lost, and the storm only are it that much worse. Bucketing down with rain and his fur being swept in the wind, Tally grabbed hold of his fur so that she would not slip off. The rat looking ahead as Nia tried to reach higher ground. Among the chaos he had not been able to ell these were pack lands, the wind and rain had made the scent markers weak. The runt of a boy relied on his eye sight entirely his disability making it more fearful. Though his rat companion scratched on the back of his head, making him look forward. She was pointing a small paw in the direction of something. Nia felt her arch her head back and mimic a howl position. Someone must have called, he was in pack lands but he was certain right now his safety mattered more than worrying about that.

Nia moved on both his different colored eyes watching until the wolves came into view. Of course standing at twenty six inches made this experience all the more terrifying without all these wolves but his body didn't care. As he reached the wolves, tally stood firmly on his head he could feel the vibrations of her voice across his cranium. "You must be the pack that lives here, I'm sorry we stumbled into your lands when the storm got really bad. Could we help you find higher ground? My friend Nia has no where else to go!" She tried to speak loud enough for them the rat mainly concentrating on bass. Nia pulled his ears back paying close attention to their body language and snouts just in case they decided to speak.

The term drowned rat was a bit of an understatement for the appearance of the charcoal female. Her pelt was socked though and her body whipped with the down pour of the rain with the Addison of the wind tangling her pelt and pushing against her she was not much of a pretty sight. Her body was lowered to the domain slightly while her ears rested upon her skull and she stalked against the winds hopping to make it back to her den for some form of shelter.

The faint howl carried by the wind caught her attention and her orbs narrowed in the direction due to the wind she had a hard time picking the message up however once she understood the calling she aimed to quickly make her way towards the rest of the wolves the howling was coming from after all there was safety in numbers.

Nona had arrived late with what little medical herbs she could gather before the she heard the call. Rushing to where the sound was coming from. There she spotted other members of the pack and only heard a little bit of what Bass had said "Singing Caverns! The caves will keep us safe!". The singing caverns, Nona did not know where the place was and was afraid of what was happening. No matter the time for telling Bass what she had been doing before this would have to wait, for now she had to aid in whatever way she could.

The weather was worse than she feared it to be. Her home was being damaged by it, would they be able to come back here if it ever went away. She was only a member in training and had little experience besides what she was taught so far. Even then it would seem aiding any injured would prove to be a difficult task in its own right with this storm, herbs and other supplies were going to probably be more difficult to obtain she thought to herself. How was her adoptive father faring with where he lived now, did they get any weather like this or was he safe. Allen crept into her mind bringing her a small bit of comfort and strength to hold her courage up. Strength in numbers was what they had and in Abaven that strength was the power of being a pack, of being what she seen as a family. Nona made sure to call out to let Bass know that she was there to help with as loud as her voice could go "I'm here, Bass, if there is anything you need me to do to help, I'll do it!" the gentle and soft tone wasn't there instead replaced by one of loud volume.

Darkness enveloped her; holding her in an unescapable grip. She had been sleeping soundly when the sound of an oncoming storm roared above her. Her den was on low grounds, and the storm hadn't seemed so large when encroaching upon the lands of Abaven. How she was wrong.

Water choaked at her paws as the tempest heard the oncoming roar of the rain. The rapids flooded everywhere, as a sharp torrent beat at the lands. She couldn't be able to make it out of her den in time. It was too deep, and water kept pouring in. If she didn't use her time wisely, she would drown. In moments she resembled a wet rat, as she threw herself at the enterance of her cave, hind legs slipping on the moss. Her herbs would be ruined at the end of this storm, but now was important. Did anyone else know of what was happening? Forelegs scrabbled furiously for a hold on the slick mud. Now she was swimming in her den. A great crack of thunder sounded as her brother's voice barely rised above the wind. Forelegs still could not get a grip on the mud, as she began to feel her mouth fill with dirt and water. Her neck would crane upward as she shoved her muzzle upward, screaming a call of distress. "HELP!" She spared no time after this speech, her head ducking beneath the water after she inhaled a great wheezing breath, her eyes welcoming the dirty darkness. Her hind legs pushed hard, as she expulsed herself forward, appearing from her den like a wet rat, sodden and dirty. Quickly, she made fast time with weak legs, stumbling toward the rest of Abaven's group. She recounted heads, and noticed one wasn't there. Over a great crack of thunder, her voice cried out. "Motif! She's gone! We can't leave anyone behind if we can help it." Silently, she prayed for her to be alright, but even more, she prayed for Quintus to be safe. Blood began to clot her vision, as choppy waters ran up her ankles, and she was unaware that she had sliced the right side of her face in her den on a rock. She didn't care. All she wanted was the safety of her pack. This was Bass's moment, his time to be the alpha Abaven needs.

The weather started out with rains, constant and endless that kept her in her den for long and boring hours. She didn't realize that the rain was rising the level of the stream, that it would begin to flood the pack lands. Her first real warning that this weather was getting dangerous was the crack of lightning almost above her. She had never heard it so loud, so aggressive before and shuddered, slinking deeper into her den. She moved closer then, to pair through her cave into the raging weather, and began to worry about Bass. Was he alright in all this? And surely he was worrying about the pack right now. Even as she watched the lightning struck up again, and the brightness of it struck through the heavy rains and winds to light up the world as it struck the tree right outside her cave.

Her fur stood on end, a puff about her with the electricity in the air and she could only watch as a branch of the tree, sliced clean off by the power of the storm struck across the entrance of her cave. Her first thought was to flee to that back of her den, her second told he she needed to get out there and find Bass. As if in answer to that she heard her name cried out somewhere up ahead, but the rest of the words where lost. She scrambled over the branch that half blocked her exit, squeezing herself through the gap and leaving a few tuffs of fur behind. She sprinted free and away, in the rain and the wind she could follow know scents but instead followed the sounds and speech of the group until she found them and joined their ranks. Her eyes where perhaps a touch wide and her fur sticking every which way as she put herself next to Bass and looking about herself to see who else was accounted for. She was relieved to see Harmony and Rythem in the group and shaking out her coat she silently followed her brother.

Eli Note: Permission to PP him being pulled out of water

He had been walking along the river with Vivi when the storm had hit. The fierce winds were so close to throwing him into the raging torrents of water next to him. There were rocks across the water and due to his small size, Darrah was blown into the water and he fought desperately until he found himself clutching onto a rock for dear life, his paws wrapped around the rock so his face was up against the side as tight as he could get it. Vivi had been a bit safer, darting to get help immediately. "HWWRELP!" Darrah called out as water rushed around him, drowning him out. Vivi ran to the cave, her eyes in a frantic panic as she saw the gathered group that was starting to leave. "BASS! Darrah was thrown into the water. I can't get to him..." She could call out, remembering that Darrah had talked about Bass being his mentor.

His white fur was slicked back as his grip started to loosen on the rock. There was pure fear and panic in his eyes as he wondered if the others were safe. Where had Vivi disappeared to and would she return with aid? Of course she would, she was his best friend and she would never leave him to die, no matter the scenario. "HWWWELP MEHHH!" More water would rush around him, some catching his mouth as he began to cough. He did not know how much longer he could hold out.

She rolled over onto her side, closing her eyes tightly as she tried sleeping through the storm raging over her home lands. She had found herself a rather spacious abandoned den near the shoreline of monument rapids and decided to make it her new home. Yet the rain had ruined her good mood and made her a wet dog as she had got caught in the earlier light rainfall from her earlier exploring.

A rattle would ring out and shake her awake, the snake's face close to her own. It was Sabre. "Anzzzhelika, I noticccced the water level from the rapidsssss isss risssing. We need to get out of here quick." He would tell her in a worried tone, and began to slither out of the cave.

Her own gold and amethyst eyes would widen as she would barely pick herself up and the water would already be rushing into her cave, lapping at her ankles. It was ice cold, chilling to her bones. She quickly stood up and shook her fur, the water level rising quicker and quicker into her cave, her teeth chattering from the cold water. Where the Hell was Sabre? She thought to herself, throwing her head around as she searched for him. He was no where to be seen, and the water was already lapping at her thighs. Oh, Sabre is fine. I just need to get out of here, now. She quickly thought to herself as she began trudging through the water towards her cave exit.

The water was heavy to trudge through, ice cold liquid pulling her down with each step. Her paws and fur grew slick with the water, her struggle to get out all the more troubling. Just as she was about to make a head on dash for the cave exit, the water rushed a log into her direction and blocked her only means of exiting, entrapping the girl within her own home.

Anzhelika quickly moved away before making much impact with the large log, the thing only merely scraping her chest. The water was now lapping at her neck and she had begun to swim in her own cave without realizing it. "HELP, HELP!!" She cried breathlessly out to anyone. Worry flushed over her and she said a silent prayer, for her not to die like this.

"HELP!!"

She cried out breathlessly. She wasn't all emotionless, or cruel in this world. She still cared for others, and she would help them. And now, she said another silent prayer in her mind that someone cared enough for her to help her. If someone didn't come soon, her new home would reside as a grave for the girl.

(OOC; Permission to powerplay someone removing the log to her entrance.)

Through the wind and the rain he heard the howl of his sister, and was about to pad after her to go towards Rhythm, missing Chrono making a fast appearance before quickly vanishing. He let out a soft sigh when Mirabelle made it to his sister first, her words lost in the wind. It was the stranger who made a showing that caught his attention. He quickly padded over, careful not to slip on the ground that was quickly turning to mud. He was just in time to catch not the wolf's words, but the rats. Blinking his surprise away he nodded his head. "Of course! Come with us, I would never turn anyone away in times like these!" He called, walking over to the boy and nudging him forward. They needed to get going before the storm got even worse, the river was very quickly rising. If he lost anyone in this... it would break his young heart. He led the stranger towards Mirabelle and Rhythm. "We are bringing these two with us!" He called again, his jaw sore from all the yelling. But there was no way that he could be heard if he were to speak normally.

It was then that Nona made herself known, and he nosed the pale boy towards her. "Look this boy over! The rat said his name is Nia. I'm not sure if he's hurt!" He didn't have time to say anything else as the call of his sister roared with the wind. White ears pulled forward as he ran with the wind, allowing it to push him towards his ailing sister. The mocha girl ran towards him though, making him let out another sigh of relieve. She spoke of Motif not being here, and even though worry shone in his golden eyes he shook his head. "She will come, I know it!" He called once more. "I will not leave until we lead everyone to safety. Harmony! You will lead the group towards the caverns!" He was to stay behind and wait for the rest, but as Sable made herself known it was a good sized group to start the travels towards their save lands.

Bass' ears were open to all calls around him, straining to hear above the storm. Motif made herself known to him and he let out a breath, nudging her towards Harmony. Those two could lead the way, he was going to follow in no time at all. A small cat ran at him, and his eyes widened as she said that Darrah had been thrown into the water. The brute wasted no time at all, following Viv back to the boy. He was clinging to a rock, and sheer panic flared in his chest. "Darrah! Hold on, I'm coming for you!" He yelled, the rains pelting his coat as he attempted to edge as close to the waters edge as he could. His front paw slipped, but he scrambled to regain his footing. He was so close to the boy, he could feel his heat calling out to him. Just a little further and he would have him! Bass pushed himself to his limits, pushing his upper body so that his front paws landed on the rock that Darrah was hanging on to. His claws dug into the hard surface, his mouth bending down as he locked over the pale boy's scruff, his bite a bit forceful. He held on for dear life, Darrah was too large for him to carry. Taking in a deep breath he didn't care, pulling up as hard as he could and tossing him backwards, the muscles in his neck screaming in pain. That was going to be sore for awhile, but he cared not. With Darrah landing safely on the bank, Bass was now rather... stuck. The wind was whipping towards him though, and he knew that he could use it to his advantage. Lifting up his front half of his body he let the wind force him backwards. He landed on his back with a loud thump, the air knocking clean out of his lungs. Bass wheezed as the rain poured into his open mouth. Turning his head sideways, his paws flailed as he fought to regain his breath. A few painful moments passed before the air rushed back in, the Azat gasping for air and choking out the water that dared to attempt to take his life. Bass turned behind him, licking Darrah. "Go to the others! Viv knows the way!" He called, sticking his nose in that direction. He let out a loud howl to let the group know that another was coming to them. He had no time to waste though, there were still wolves to find.

Another call of help reached his alabaster ears, his fur now dripping wet. He was walking slower, his neck sore from tossing Darrah. Regardless he ran towards the caller, spotting Anzhelika caught behind a log, locking her in her own den. "Hold on!" He screamed, claws kicking up mud as he fought to get to her as quickly as he could. He may not trust the woman fully, but she was a pack mate regardless. The water still fought against the log, but Bass used his remaining strength to drive his chest into the end of the tree, forcing it backwards. He tried to use the pull of the water on either side of the den to force it away, a heavy bruise forming in his chest as he pushed hard against the tree. As soon as it was free, he reached into the den and fought to grab Anz's scruff, pulling upwards to help her out of the den. "Let's get to the others!" Bass said, his nose flicking in the direction from where he came. Eyes squinted as the rain battered against his aching body, but he would fight till his last breath to save his pack.

Darkness played upon her eyes - eyelids closed over marbled eyes. Sleep had not taken its hold, simply she lied there in the tall grasses allowing the storm to envelop her. The wind tangled her mane and toyed with each hair that sprouted from her body. Rain shrouded her form in gentle kisses. Thunder sung her a lullaby whilst lightening offered relief from complete darkness. The wind whipped the grasses around her frame causing the blades to tickle her side as if they were dancing with her static body. Forelimbs were stretched out in front of her and head rested upon her limbs. Hind limbs were tucked beneath her midriff.

Though, her peace would not last - it never did. A seemingly endless yelling rolled out in the distance intertwined with howls and calls of desperation. Left eyelid would slowly slide open, body still resting in the same position. An soft, aggravated growl purred inside her passage. Ears would pin back momentarily and then flick forward to try and capture the words. With a huff, she stood and shook off most of the mud that clung to her galactic pelt.

Frame moved in the direction of the disturbance to see what was the matter. Though, to her, everything was going just fine. She loved storms and it created a calm that would wash over her. She arrived just in time to watch Bass pull Anzhelica from her prison, though, she half wished he would have left her there. Marbled eyes would watch from a distance for a while, enjoying the twisting winds as it would blow away all thoughts of darkness from her mind.

She carried herself over to the rest, assuming that this was an evacuation. She, herself, would probably embrace the storm and allow it to wash away all of her weak members. Though, she kept in mind that it was Bass's pack and she would uphold his law. Her posture reflected the peace that overcame her - head parallel to the ground and tail draped straight down. Body tension had been released and it would appear as if sleep was ready to consume her body. She would yawn and shake out her pelt once more, but this time to try to awaken herself from death's cousin. She did not want to appear ignorant of what was going on, being the king's Kashkar. So, she would simply help protect the pack when necessary and listen to what else is to be said to catch up on the happenings.

He had his eyes slammed shut when he heard Bass yell for him. He would feel a sharp pain in his scruff as the man grabbed ahold of it and tossed him ashore. Darrah began to cough up some of the water that he had inhaled as the man finally made it to the shoreline and told him to find the others. There was no time to argue in such cruel weather and so he looked to his friend who had gone and gotten Bass. "Lead the..." He started to cough again but Vivianna knew exactly what he was thinking about and so she would run along, but at a speed where Darrah could keep up to meet the group. He continued his coughing, occasionally having water spit out as they fought against the wind to get to the ground. When they arrived they felt relieved.

The world was furious with them all. And it seemed whatever had made it angry happened very quickly. Because it used to be so beautiful...that summer air. The heat against her spine and that perfect weather. Now this. Horrible storms, mini hurricanes even. It was disastrous. And Wren had almost been left behind when they began to move out toward the Singing Caverns. But she managed to hear the agonizing cries of those who needed help, or those who had been trapped into things. It immediately threw Wren into reality. She was a bit horrified that her den had been flooded and crushed by a tree...but once the woman realized everything, she fled instantly. Toward everyone, her family that was in danger.
Her fur was soaked and she was a soppy mess. It didn't help her as she tried to fight the storm and the awful winds that held her back from getting to the group. Her breathes were heavy and quick, and she slipped every time a strong gust of wind approached her. Would she even make it any farther? At this rate...they will probably reach safety before she even gets to their previous meeting spot. Growls and grunts left her lips, before a strong wind reached her and threw her to the ground. Her head slammed against a sharp rock and she cringed in bitter agony.
Everything seemed like a blur. Maybe even a dream. Things like this happened rarely...but why now? Everyone was happy...it was peaceful. The world would change now, with this horrid event! Wren pulled her legs into her body and felt like sobbing. Her body shook violently...but the pain was practically transparent to her. It was this mental feeling that swelled in her heart. It hurt. Warm blood slid down her face, and for a moment the woman just lied there, hopeless. But she found herself rising and pushing on after a minute. It was a demon's goal to make a soul give up on itself. Why give in to something as pointless and worthless as scum...?
Everyone was here...in a group. Wren gaped and made her way over to Bass at her weak, difficult state, pressing up to his shoulder and groaning a simple question. "Is everyone okay...?" Her eyelids rolled shut for a moment as the hard rain pattered against her face. Another question immediately flew from her lips. "Nobody is hurt, right?"

She had no time to groom herself, or to fix herself up. Faintly the mocha cloaked tempest had heard the name of the higher grounds that the pack could reach to get to safety. Her left eye now was clotted with blood completely, as the cut on the left side of her face pulsed furiously, but it was the least of her problems at the moment; her crown turning and seeking the flooded lands. Her den was submerged by now, and murky water climbed the banks yet more. Would Abaven have to move? The lands could never recover from a disaster like this... Abaven had been so happy and peaceful, at harmony with nature, and hell had fallen from the skies. The voice of her brother called above the wind, strained so all could hear. Her name was called, as she was given the duty of leading the pack to safety. Normally she would have been concerned and worried, but right now wasn't the time to screw around. Time was of essence. She would stand to her full height, her weight distributing evenly as her claws dug into the muddy soil. "Abaven! As Bass says, we have to get to safety if we are to survive!" Mismatched orbs observed as her brother dashed away, a call for help rising upon the wind. By gods, please be okay. There was a youngster who was lost, and Bass had welcomed her with ease. Always the leader Abaven needed. Her voice next came as a booming sound, of promise. "We can make it. We are Abaven! We are family!" Possibly coincidentally, a crack of thunder sounded right above the tempest, striking only air, igniting the crowd. Water already began to lick at her ankles.

She would begin to trot forward, her mismatched orbs searching her friends' faces for response. "Come! To find a tomorrow!" With her final verse of lyrics, she would begin to pump her legs at a easy pace, to see if her packmates would follow, and if they should, she would disappear into the night, leaving Abaven's lands behind her. Bass would be alright, she knew it.

Water Is Bringing Us Down, Now.
She would be pulled and dragged out by her scruff onto the safety of the ground, her savior being Bass Destruction. "Thank you," she told him hoarsely and then gave a cough, her throat sore with the action. She was soaking wet and the rain was just getting her more drenched and ill.

The pale lady would pick her shivering form up and look around, eyes scanning the surrounding area for Sabre. She almost gave herself whiplash, but there she found him, slithering up a small boulder.

"Sabre!!" She yelled in a scratchy and hoarse tone, a coughing fit overtaking the girl as she triedbto catch her breath, lungs wheezing with the action. But, Sabre would hear her call and quickly slither through all the commotion to her, wrapping himself tightly around her neck.

Suddenly a girl would speak, her voice loud over the rain. Her pelt was of a soft brown color, and a pale underside. When she spoke she sounded determined, and the way she did, she sounded like a leader. 'Come! To find a tomorrow!' Her words were serious and Anzhelika would instinctively follow her, not looking back to her old home or to see if anyone else did. (OOC; ~Exit Anzhelika unless stopped)

Nona heard what she was to do with Nia and as thus she would move quickly to the boy's size. He was roughly her size but that didn't matter, she would look over him and of course his rat companion to make sure they both weren't injured. Nona was gentle with her touch as she would nudge the wolf to follow Harmony and spoke so Nia and the rat could hear her "if there are any injuries that I cannot see now, I'll take care of them but first with this storm the way it is we're going to have to stick together". Nona would once more gently nudge him. She would only leave if Nia came with and thus would make sure he would go before herself in the group that would follow Harmony.

This storm left her with little time to do any thorough examination for any injuries on Nia, nor anyone else for that matter. The longer they lingered here it was only going to get worse and if she lingered trying to examine him for any more wounds that she might not have found as she didn't notice any apparent wounds yet but taking time to do so would risk them getting caught up in this storm and they both might die. Nona wasn't going to let this rage from the heavens above and what was below stop her from trying to be brave and doing what she could and so Nona would follow Harmony if Nia went before Nona's own movement.

It wasn't that no one cared, maybe no one saw him. Maybe they thought he could make it or maybe they were too busy figuring out their selves. But his desperate crawls against the wind were useless. The only way he could move is if he got up. But it was all worth it for his lover.

His haunches sprung, but he didn't have any time to dig his claws into the ground, and he went tumbling across the grasses, mud spraying about the place before he felt his back drop and was now floating. His eyes were shut tight, and he couldn't think anything but "was he dead?" He opened his eyes to a mucky and swirling water, suddenly gasping for air. He reached the surface, but couldn't stay up; the water had grown more since someone had last been in. His lungs took in gulps of filthy stream water, and soon he started to sink.

In his last moments, he didn't think of Esper or his unborn children, instead he thought of Murrell, the brother he betrayed. And so came the dark, black tunnel. And at the end where the light was? His father stood, waiting.
