SITE EVENT: SEVERE WEATHER

As summer fully settles over Alacritia, the weather begins to grow suddenly more extreme. Temperatures seem to level off as storms roll in from the east. The easternmost lands of Alacritia are hit the hardest, with a massive hurricane hitting the coastline near Kamui Delta. An equally devastating typhoon rages in the southern ocean, causing destruction storms to hit the entire southern coastline.


Severe hurricanes/tropical storms:

East: Crystallum Cliffs, Moontouched Cliffs, Ibis Islands, Fontamo Bay, Kamui Delta, Monument Rapids

South: Lovers Mangrove, Weeping Woods, Sea's Plain, Obsidian Beach, Fallers Fjord.

Islands: Love Islands, Daager Isle, Inu Island, Rekaru Island, Dove Island, Nephilim Island, Black Island

These lands will experience severe tropical storms -- including, but not limited to, the following: high winds (with the possibility of uprooting trees), heavy rainfall and potential flooding, small tornadoes, & dangerous riptides.




Mild tropical storms:

North: Ardens Glacies, The Polar Sound


East: Rock Garden, Stone Steppe, Singing Cavern, Mount Volkan, Saratoga Wood, Travelers Pitfall, Sunset Falls, Serpent Plains


South: Hot Springs, Tall Grass Plains, Sea's Plain, Corpseghoul Swampland, Fern Gulley, Algoma Praire, Gambit Briar, Time's Cavern


West: Cryers Ravine, Jade's Moore, Druid's Moore


Islands: Alias island

These lands will experience milder, but still quite severe tropical storms. Rain will be frequent and heavy and small hurricanes are a possibility.

HOW Does this affect my characters?

While we strongly encourage you to participate in this event by acknowledging the weather and how your characters will adapt to it for the remainder of the summer season, we will not be monitoring threads to ensure this happens.


We also encourage injuries & illnesses that may come from this event! They are not required, but they can be played out accordingly.


Remember to claim your achievement Jewel for participation! Any character that experiences weather that is out of the ordinary, in any of the lands listed above, is eligible for site event participation.
