As a child Aslan had developed a habit of wandering over the borders. Sawtooth had been the pack left to put up with this, though of course Song and Dhiren hadn't minded and by the time this Jupiter person had come into the picture with Ludicael he had fortunately learnt the importance of boundaries. Not one had he tried to visit the Springs in the recent months, though he certainly missed the family that still called the place home. Truth be told he knew little about the new arrangements of things, only knew that under no condition was he to go on Ludicael lands.

Abaven on the other hand, they were still thriving and still allies to the pack and Aslan had decided it was about time he paid them a visit. He didn't know his cousin very well at all or any of the wolves within the pack though maybe he ought to try and fix that. And so now the tall boy found himself upon the borders of Abaven and let out a call for the fellow Destructions within.

Bass was heading over to the rapids, intend on hunting down some rabbits for his family. He was about to follow a scent trail when a howl rang out for him. Ears perked forward as he turned his head towards the call, while the voice sounded slightly familiar he didn't know the caller at all. Mmm... could it be another member of the family that he hadn't met yet? Forgetting all about the rabbit he was going to track down he moved towards the border, pale body quickly cutting through the landscape. When he picked up the wolf's form, he instantly reminded him of his son, Lark. He was darker though, and his markings reminded him of Novella while his dark colour spoke of Firth. And then it clicked. This boy was one of their kids, he had to be. Flashing the boy a smile he dipped his head, his eyes sparking with recognition even though a name did not come to mind. "Hey there, I'm Bass. And I can tell that by your looks that we're cousins," he said when he stopped down to his rump to gaze at the boy. "I do apologize though, I don't know your name."

Aslan was certainly a rather decent mixture of genetics from his parents. The height of course was rather unexplainable though the deep chocolate of his coat was so alike his father's and the markings around his mismatched eyes were unmistakeably from his mother. Bass on the other hand, whilst there were similarities of course amongst his family didn't really posses traits that Aslan could immediately distinguish; he didn't know his Aunt Lyric and Uncle Darilnor by anything other than name.

Bass was quick to begin the introduction however, his name the boy was familiar with and now at last he had a face to match to the Azat he had heard mentioned before. "I'm Aslan. The tall boy responded with his own name. "I thought it was about time I paid a visit to the family in Abaven." It was a shame that it hadn't happened sooner, but life had apparently gotten busy and casual meetings with other family members simply hadn't always been practical. Now he was old enough to set them up on his own without getting into any sort of trouble, his parent's hadn't exactly been overly thrilled when he had first began his little adventures to meet wolves in the neighbouring packs.

It took Bass a little bit to realize that he was looking up at the yearling, something that the man didn't usually didn't have to do. Blinking his golden eyes his head shook slowly, how did he not realize that before? Height wasn't something that really ran in their family, they varied all over the map. Surly this boy was the largest though, the only other wolf that he had met that was still tall was Valentine -- and he really didn't like to talk about that sister-stealing alpha. Clearing his throat, the boy introduced himself as Aslan, bringing a smile back to Bass' face as he forgot about the other giant freak that was intent on stealing Rhy away. "Its a pleasure Aslan, always nice to meet all the family. It would seem that we grow larger by the season," he said with a chuckle. They were truly a large family, and never seemed to stop growing. "So how are things going in Threar?" he asked, pale tail coming to rest at his flank. He hadn't heard anything from the neighboring pack for quite awhile, which had him a bit worried.

His height was something that the family would certainly take a while to get used to though it had always been clear he wouldn't be small. He'd grown at a rapid rate the size gap between he and his siblings seeming to grow larger and larger. There and then he had realised he was oddly tall, a realisation that only became more apparent when he had overtaken his parents and continued to shoot up. Now fully grown it had been a while since he'd seen anyone close to his height let alone taller, it was still a little odd to look down on everyone, though it was something the boy was apparently going to have to get used to.

The Destructions were a large family, and Aslan didn't even know of the half of it. There were still aunts and uncles he didn't know, cousins that he had never met, so many wolves without even venturing into the generations both before and after those two. Bass would jest at the size of the family, continuously growing and Aslan couldn't help but laugh lightly at the man's next question. "Growing larger still." He responded. The news wasn't exactly his to share but not really thinking about that he would share it anyway. "I'll have more little siblings running around soon." He explained.

When the boy brought news of more siblings coming, Bass' tail beat on the ground behind him as he smile grew even bigger. It was always a joy to hear that their family was forever growing, soon they would have to move the other packs out of the East just to make way for all of them. That was, if they could even get them all together. They were so wide spread across Alacritia, and even more in Ahlon, possibly other lands as well. "That's great to hear! That means that my five little ones are going to have more relatives closer in age. I have been meaning to go over to Threar and bring them with me, I am sure that they would love to meet everyone. Or maybe I should wait until the litter is born..." it was easy enough to see that he was excited, but he really did love puppies, with all his heart. He had been meaning to go and check on his grandparents too, the last he had heard they were quite sick. They hadn't seen Wren in awhile either, not since she left their ranks and came to join his own. Dragging the whole family over would be grand, it wasn't like they lived too far apart anyways.

Snapping back to attention, his eyes once again focused on Aslan. "So did you just come here to poke your head around? I can take you in and show you around if you like," he offered, looking over his shoulder and into the land that expanded before him. It wouldn't be that long of a tour, but he would feel bad if he didn't offer the boy something for making his way over here. It would be rude to let him leave without some sort of offer...

ooc: With the grandparents, I think it was around when you were on absence/scarcity so I'd just left it open as to whether Bass had made it to the funeral so he can have been there and known about it if you want.

It seemed joy was the immediate response many had to the idea of the new little siblings. Aslan had never hated the idea he hastened to point out, though he had been rather shocked and uncertain how to respond. Even now he wasn't entirely sure what he was meant to say. He could say that Varda was careful, that Herne was shy but these new little pups were completely unknown.

Now he mentioned plans to bring over his own children. "Maybe you could do both? Whatever you decide though it'll be great to see them all." He was sure he spoke for most of Threar when he said that as well. Féli had always been really helpful with he, Varda and Herne after all and his mother certainly loved seeing the family.

The chocolate coloured boy would nod his head in response to Bass's offer. He wasn't entirely certain what his plan had been in visiting his cousin's pack though that certainly seemed like a good one. "Yes please, I'd like that." He replied, recalling his manners in a way that surely would have pleased both his parents and his sister.
