Her den, once so spacious to her, had been feeling more and more crowded since the pups' eyes had opened. The three of them had grown rapidly, far more rapidly than she'd expected, and she was starting to suspect that at least one of them had inherited from the dire wolf side of Cascade's family - Seraphim and Evangeline were big for pups, but Angelus was juuuust a bit bigger than they were even. The den felt like it was bursting at the seams, and the boys had managed to make Evangeline cry twice already this morning with the sun up barely an hour... not that it was difficult, or even anything they'd actually been doing. Evangeline was just a difficult child and she'd already picked up the knack for using crocodile tears to get her way. But frankly, Cascade needed a break from it!
Poking her head out of the den she surveyed the area around it. Nice spring day, the sun was out, it wasn't cold or rainy. Even the snow around the densite had managed to completely vanish while she'd been den-bound, and the mud more-or-less dried up. Good enough! She'd drag the little hellions out of the den and let their daddy chase them around for a while to let out some of that excess energy. Casually, she howled for Valentine to meet her at the den - he was off doing alpha-y things, after all, but hey, he could take a break.
She scootched back into the den. "All right you brats," she said cheerfully.... ignoring the fact that Vana's eyes were wet and her chin was quivering again. "Today, you're all going to get to go outside! So, out you go!" She demonstrated, slipping out of the den and into the spring air before them since if she let them go first one of them would undoubtedly have gotten themselves eaten by something before she got the other two out of the den. "Come on then!" she coaxed - not that they probably needed coaxing.

Cascade's "baby daddy" (Valentine) and her children (Angelus, Seraphim, Evangeline, and Chaos) are allowed in any of her threads, regardless of whether or not they are marked private. Because they are all special rays of sunshine.
