The original purchase thread has been deleted and the refunded gems can now be found in the Gemstore Credit page. 

I'm not sure what your plans are with the account, but since we don't typically delete accounts that only receive a refund on an accessory (markings and other physical traits are a different matter) if you would like for the account to be deleted you're free to request it in maintenance. Otherwise your refund is complete. - Mouser
