The golden vixen was stalking the Moor, remaining in the shadows of the trees that lived there. She walked through the sludgy water, steps slow and drawn out to lessen the splashes. Leaf-green eyes roved the landscape far and wide, ensuring that each bit was covered by her stare. She remained silent with her words and more focused than she had been in a long time. The woman was preparing herself for future endeavors where she would need to be perfectly poised for any situation...including war. Her blood began to pump faster at the thought, but her body remained still as she heard the pulsing in her ears. The shell should always hide whatever is going on within its capacity. Always.

She began to take another step when she heard a very faint rustle. Eyes narrowed to a bush not too far from where she stood and she caught the twitch of blackish-gray fur. A crafty grin appeared on her face and she lowered herself into the water, consuming everything about her but her head. Ears flattened against her skull and she moved downstream, keeping her scent from the winds and remained noiseless as she then dove completely underwater. Her body worked like a robot, knowing exactly where to go.

In a matter of minutes, Maija broke free from the water. She slowly moved, making sure she wouldn't be heard or her scent wouldn't give her away. Muffled paws carried her towards the bush, eyes narrowing as she got closer. She came up from behind, knowing that the tiniest sound could mess up her plan. Luckily for her, she smelled like the Moor and the mossy ground was spongy enough to conceal her direct location. Finally, she made it to the bush and her maw slipped beside one of Basanti's ears. "I found you," she whispered, voice thick with her Romanian accent and mischief noted in her leaf-green eyes. She waited for her future Queen to react, then she would proceed with their next lesson.

She moved the more, nearly silent in doing so, massive paws pressing into the ground to absorb the sound. Verdant gaze remained fixated ahead, her mind swarming with thoughts. It wasnt until the subtle shift in the air beside her that she realized she was no longer alone. Her crown would lift just as a voice filled her ears. She would turn, finding her mothers golden treasure coming up beside her. A smirk would toy with her dark lips, amusement dancing briefly across her features. Indeed you have. She had never been close with the woman, but her mother cherished her, so she would extend a kinder courtesy for the woman. How are you? She would stop her walking, coming to a halt beside the smaller woman. Ears slide forward as her gaze turned toward to meet the verdant gaze of her mothers Official.

The fact that Basanti was growing to be as big as Cataleya didn't faze Maija. She was proud to be exactly three feet tall, even if she didn't loom over those destined to be bigger. It was a fact that she didn't share with anyone, for what was the point in sharing information that could be used against you? The golden vixen would always be paranoid about everything, but not as much so when around her pack members.

The smirk remained on the woman's face as she stopped beside the growing girl, gaze less hardening than usual. "Better," she admitted, ears perking forward before they started walking again. "Still hating leopard seals with a passion...Bastards.." If Basanti had a problem with Maija's cursing, then the golden vixen had no idea. The girl was a year old now -- almost two, it seemed -- so if she didn't know the words by now, Maija would be surprised.

They walked through a very marshy piece of the Moor, of which Maija enjoyed as her paws got more dirty and wet. Unlike Pandora, she didn't mind getting her paws dirty, whether it be dirt or blood. Her claws flexed into the ground as they walked, getting underneath her nails after leaving impressive prints. "And you?" she asked, knowing that manners could go a long way; even if she didn't like them, there were exceptions.
