She'd escaped! She wasn't sure if anyone would even be looking for her but that didn't daunt her spirits as she left Imperium's borders. When they'd traveled South, she'd realized that there was a whole world for her to explore, and her paws had itched (albeit gloomily) to explore it. Unaware of the dangers a lone pup would face she took off, her little tail wagging. It hadn't taken her long to come across this gloomy and gross forest that she found herself in now. She wondered who lived here? She could smell wolves but it wasn't a pack-scent and she was curious. Was it a bunch of pup eating rouges?! She trotted happily into the forest, and slowed as she realized how thick the brambles were. They pulled and snagged at her coat, and she actually found herself stuck in one. Grunting and growling, she pulled herself free- losing wads of fur in the process before she tumbled into a small clearing. Landing with a loud, "Ooof!" She rolled and then stumbled to her feet- looking around her. Huh? How'd she get in here again? God- how would she get home? She swallowed to stifle her fear, as she looked around. His mama was gone. He didn't understand. She had just up and left, leaving him to fend for himself. His belly ached with hunger and he spent his nights cold and alone. His head hung low, ears pulled back against his skull as his tail dragged. Silver eyes were dull and downcast, sadness etched deeply into his features. He had disappointed his mama, causing her to abandon him, just as she had done with his brother. oversized paws dragged with each step he took, navigating the forest with ease. It wasnt until the sound of another that his dark crown would lift, eyes brightening briefly. Had his mother returned? He would bound forward with renewed determination, weaving through the forest, his tag beginning to wag furiously.

But he was met with disappointment. The girl he found was not his mother. She was a pup just like him. And she was trespassing. Anger unlike anything he had felt exploded in his chest, a vicious snarl ripping free from his chest. Eyes narrowed to slits, hackles bristling along his back. He would seek to lunge for her, coming head on, wanting to launch himself at her, forepaws outstretched in an attempt to wrap his forelegs around her shoulders/neck and force her to the ground. "You are trespassing." He spat angrily through clenched jaws. Maybe if he protected the forest, his mama would be proud of him and come back.

Suddenly, she scented another wolf- and she realized that she wasn't alone. She'd smelt wolves when she'd wandered into the forest but no one had ever really mentioned that rogues were protective of their chosen lands- or that they were dangerous. She stood rooted to her spot- looking around curiously, as a black and white wolf emerged from the shadows. "Hel-" she broke off as the other young wolf barreled towards her. She backed up a few steps, her ears falling flat on her head and a growl bubbling in her throat as the other pup's paws tried to reach around her. She backed up quickly, and as he neared her, she very neatly stepped to the right to dodge his paws, a rather smug look on her face as she looked at him. "Well you don't have to be so rude!" She snapped angrily, her white hackles exposing her teeth, and her eyes dark with fury from where she stood. She was ready for him this time, as she squared herself. "Who are you?" She spoke indignantly. Other than her words- she'd make no other move. Perhaps this barbarian didn't know how to civilly speak or ask someone to leave? Greek Speak -- Bellona Speak
