Chocolate paws carried the girls easily from the borders of Abaven and closer to where Threar was settled. She needed another moment to herself after a rather busy morning with her niece and nephew. They were so wonderful she could hardly stand it that their amazingness was so mingled with her deep sadness. She couldn't even appreciate them fully with out the same thoughts of those still forms clouding her mind. Shaking her head visibly now she'd attempt at putting the thoughts and images out of her mind. She came here to calm herself, to forget for just a few moment. She would sigh softly, coming to a stop by the edge of the stream. Lazily throwing herself at the ground she'd lay lip with lidded eyes staring into the fast moving water. Another sigh left her as she got lost in the roar of the current.

Pandora's world was falling apart. She had lost the ability to believe that she would ever live a comfortable life, especially at such a young age. Her brimming confidence was almost near the bottom of the barrel and she felt down in the dumps without actually diving in. The shine to her coat was barely there and her curvaceous figure had taken a hit or two due to malnutrition over the harsh winter. In short, she was unable to fend for herself without sacrificing a few meaningful things.

Her family would be ashamed of such thoughts running through her head. She knew that they wouldn't understand why she chose to eat breakfast with Bass every morning when it would be simpler to just join Abaven and make it easy on herself. Instead, she chose to be the independent woman, the one who didn't want to be tied down to a pack whose goals were not hers. Being independent, however, had its downsides and almost being homeless was one of them.

As she walked along the Delta's banks, she looked at herself in the water. Her fur wasn't pristine and shiny like it had been a year ago, nor was her sensuality perked to its highest extent. Pandora closed her eyes and a tear ran down her cheek and into her fur. She deserved better than this; hell, she deserved the freaking BEST! The only problem she had with getting the best was working for it. Bump that shit! Her brows furrowed and she opened her eyes. No more feeling sorry for herself. Her world was going to change -- TODAY!

After turning away from the water, she looked up and froze. Another wolf was nearby, one who looked as sad as she did a few minutes ago. Turquoise eyes ran over the girl's dark brown form and slowly, she became intrigued. Why was such a pretty thing out here alone? The same question could be asked about Pandora, but quite frankly, she didn't give a damn at this point. The main question was: why was this pretty thing out and about...and not under Pandora's spell? The potential for a good outcome of their meeting showed its gorgeous head and Pandora took it by the horns. "You are too lovely to be out here all alone," she softly said as she began to walk towards the woman. Golden-backed ears perked as she stopped a respectful distance from the woman's relaxed form.

Rhythm's appearance had changed little over the last year, even through her rough sleeping habits and dark thoughts she would seem quite fine on the outside. Her appetite had not been effected so her body was still taking in the nutrients she needed, but if she kept herself on the same path her lack of sleep would start to become more apparent. She wasn't incredibly far from home, and she was practically surrounded on all sides by family. There was no fear of travel here, but it was a nice place to come and be alone and away from her troubles.

Though alone was probably too much to hope for as the scent of another she wolf found its way to her nose, at first she ignored the intruder, her form remaining still as she listened to the river talk. She had little to worry about out here, but as sickly sweet words would be uttered only for her Rhythm's attentions would focus, shifting to the girl who brought herself forward. Bright purple shimmered eyes would look up to see the dazzling she wolf of cobalt and gold. A slight reminder of the tall man who stilled owed her half a date. The thought of Valentine would raise her spirits as she let her attentions fall to Pandora.

Her lips would curl up ever so slightly at the compliment, her head tilted forward in a nod of greeting. "I needed some time to myself," she'd answer softly, her wispy form still very much troubled by her thoughts. "Coming over here to check on me was awfully kind of you," She'd offer in return, wondering if ths woman had any need of her? As the seconds ticked by Rhythm would become more sure she was hardly fit for company.
