The boy took an exit of the den to get away from the rest inside. Darrah's den wasn't as big as his old one, and Alvin had always tried his hardest to get away for his brothers. Sure Tinaro and Mingan were the closest thing to him, but he had no attraction to a family life. He only wished to get out and away as soon as he was able. Right now he couldn't even have his own den...

He leaped over some of the tail grasses just outside of the den but he was tall enough that when he took a seat, his head and a bit of his shoulders were sticking out above it. He wondered what he would do today... He was rather lazy but he didn't want to lay around all the time.

Though he felt like he could take on the world anytime, or at least portrayed himself that way, he was actually frightened that he wouldn't be able to make it. Maybe it was his mother's death that put him there but the boy would never show that he had any emotion for anything. Family may have been secretly the most important to him, but he would never believe it. Maybe it would never make it through his head...
