Is anybody there?

The beast saunters through the terrain, large paws leaving soft indents in the moist puddles of mud, formed by the snow that had melted into the dirt beneath him. Pumpkin colored eyes shined brightly against his white splashed face, that contrasted so well with his jet black fur, dusted with a light and faint coating of a brown gray coating. Her ears flickered at any sound that he heard, any sign of life within the land. The wind blew against him, and whistled through his thick pelt. Arno, smiled. Partly to himself, the reason being that he was proud of how far he had come, and how far he had yet to go. His salmon hued tongue slid across his pearly white canines, before it rests gently out the side of his mouth. The air was neither cold or warm seeing as it it was merely spring. He stopped as the strong scent of a boarder laced itself with the air, and ventured gently into his nostrils. A pack?
From a young age, the demon had always been weary with packs, being kicked out of them countless times for his obnoxious behavior. It hadn`t really affected him, but as he stood at the boarders, his skin tingling with the urge to let a loud howl erupt from the very depth of his throat,it took it`s toll. He seemed to jog in place. To join would mean a family, not literally but a family nonetheless. To not would mean to possibly live his entire life roaming the land. Her looked down at his legs, gray fur covering them from his paws to just about half way. He lifted his head to the cloudy sky, his ears cupped back as he parted his maw, and let out a howl. When he song had ended, he smiled to himself once more. "I haven`t howled like that in a good few months." He says, sighing as he stood at the boarders, tail wagging softly behind him.
Warning! Arno is prone to vulgar and inappropriate language!
