The man wasn't really happy with the way of life. He didn't like the negative voices of the wolves here and Arcanum, and he had plenty of moments where he thought of just walking out. He feared for how Cat would feel, but he felt it necessary to leave properly if anything. His window of opportunity opened when his mother told him she had a thrown once again.

He hoped Cat would understand, but before taking a few breaths and leaving his den, he was ready to give up anything in order to go to a place called home. If anything, Cat should have noticed him feeling out of place or sticking out from the others. But there was nothing more he could do. He was hoping he didn't have to fight his way out but... he was ready.

He made his way to the border of Arcanum, staying inside the pack line before taking a deep breath and calling for Cat. Hopefully he didn't have to wait long.

It was rare that Caeto ever called for her personally, so on the occasion that he did, she answered. She would find the boy standing at the border, questions immediately filling her mind. Perhaps he was ready to part ways with Arcanum? He had never really fit in, his reasons for joining were all wrong, but she never turned him away, nor would she force him to stay. If he had come to terms with everything, then she would not hold him back from living his life. "Caeto." She would greet him with cool tones, stopping a few feet from his side. Coral gaze rested easily on his face, crown tipping to the side in question. "I'm guessing this isn't a social call?" Haunches would fold beneath her, tail curling about her hips as she waited to hear what he had to say.

Cataleya would be quick enough to his call, her hardened voice making him immediately turn around and stand before her. He bowed his head to his name, the woman still being his queen for the moment. Though she was very willing to let him move on with the rest of his life, he still feared he would have to fight. He didn't know that she didn't have a true issue with him wanting to leave.

"I suppose you can say that."

His voice was just as cold as hers, but it just seemed natural for the both of them. There were little similarities between Cat and Caeto, but as she had already seen, the life she wanted was not one that he did. He felt ready to drop the past and move on. He had moved on to other wolves before, but he could help but feel this aching for her; for Zaria. And maybe he realized that it would always be there. But he had learned to cope with it. But he would never forget her, and he didn't want to just let her go. Being a part off Arcanum gave him the push to see he could go on living again.

"My mother sits on a thrown again; she owns her own pack."

Unlike so many other times, he kept his eyes right into Cataleya's. Only she could read them like a book. He didn't want to say it, but his eyes were only questions of his leave. Though they were more strong than they had ever been before. Hopefully she saw that Arcanum changed him; whether it be good or bad to either of them didn't matter. He was stronger now, and he was ready for his change.

He spoke of his mother and a pack she had recently come in control of. She would say nothing for a brief moment, it was obvious what he wanted. "I won't keep you here." She would start, her voice cool, a small smirk tugging her lips. "Go be with your mother." She would not draw this out, he could do as he pleased, he was not bound to her like the rest of the wolves here. His purpose had been singular when he joined, she knew that, and now that he had come to terms with her daughters death, he could move on with her life. "Don't be a stranger." She would flash a brief, earnest smile before turning away from him without another word. It was a partial relief to know that he was returning to his family, she didn't want him caught up in the troubles of her pack, it didn't suite him. She could now rest easy that he would not be around for the bloodshed that would one day come.
