She stood idly in the heart of the moor. Her dull coral gaze stared at nothing. Dried blood matted her chest, her silvery pelt dirty. She was not fit to lead, not anymore. There was no way she could lead an army when she could barely make it through the day. It was time for her daughter to rise above and take the reins. A shaky breath left her lungs, her body swaying as she tried to remain upright. How had things gotten so bad? Hey eyes would close as she allowed herself to drown in the memories. She couldn't go on without him. Together they had built this empire, and now, together they would fall from the top. A low howl would pass her lips as she summoned her eldest daughter to her. It was time. She needed to let go, as much as it pained her. It was time to let go of everything. No longer would the sun rise for her, no longer would she wake beside him, and her heart broke. The damage was irreversible.

Her mothers call would pull her immediately from her resting place. She had never kept her mother waiting. Picking up an easy trot she would move across the moor until she found the Queen. Nostrils flared at the smell of blood. Concern swelled in her chest as she rushed to her mothers side, eyes frantically taking in her mothers pathetic appearance. Blood matted her silver coat, a huge wound stretching from shoulder to shoulder. Her mothers once bright coral gaze was dull and lifeless, as though the world had finally come crashing down around her. "What happened?" She demanded, hackles bristling. She would destroy whoever did this to her mother, but the only smell that clung to her mothers pelt was her fathers. Never did it cross her mind that her father could have done this. The urge for blood flooded through her veins, all she needed was a name and she would hunt the bastard down so that she could rip his throat from his body.
