She was outside of her Northern comfort zone, something she had been doing more lately than before. Since she had an official home to come back to, Odette figured adventuring would be good for her restless paws. Taurig and the other men knew how to look out for Glaciem's borders and such, so she didn't worry as she walked through the Eastern lands. Tan paws carried her along the shore and before she thought about it, she was in the ocean and swimming towards the cluster of islands. She didn't know their names, but she knew that she wanted to go.
After ten minutes, she found herself on the first island. It wasn't that big, but she figured that it had some positive things about it if it was the first one. However, she was disappointed and decided to proceed to the next one. Another ten minutes passed and she reached the second island's shore with bright eyes looking around. There were more trees and bushes, but nothing else seemed to stand out. Determination still danced in Odette's eyes and she set out for the third island. More life was evident there, but the chatter she heard from the last island caught her attention. She chose to leave the third island and before she knew it, she was on its shoreline.
Her body was exhausted and sure to be sore later on, but Odette figured it was a good enough workout for the day. Her pelt was drenched to the skin and she strongly smelled of the ocean, but she didn't care. The warm breezes soothed the thoughts of being cold and she didn't waste any time in walking onto the grass. Everything was new to her and she began to walk into the woods to see if her venture was worth the work.

She found herself leaving Imperium that day, for what reason she wasn't sure but she was feeling particularly lonely in the southern lands, not that she didn't have a few friends she could have leaned on but the familiarity of the east called to her. She felt herself being drawn to the forbidden borders of Abaven where she thought her heart still dwelt. Though as she caught the scent of her once home all she had was bitter thoughts and her chest would ache with the pain of loss. She felt like she wanted to scream, at the top of her lungs. She just wanted the hurt to go away. Coming here had obviously been a terrible idea.
Rhythm would find herself running, tears streaming over her features as she blindly raced towards the ocean. Eventually she'd feel water on her paws but by the time she really noticed she was already a third of the way to an island not so far off shore. The ocean would swallow her tears and the pain would be burned out by the burn in her overworked muscles. By the time she reached the lush isalnd she was too exhausted to think of her lost family, and would barely realize she'd crawled up onto the grass. The chocolate girl would lay herself out in the sun, finding that no matter how far she'd run she couldn't stop the tears that fell from her blue and purple eyes. This was not how her life was supposed to turn out. She wanted her brother and sister again, she wanted more than anything to feel whole.

She had been in her own world of thoughts and observations, both of which were high above the clouds. She was enjoying the feeling of being away from the world, but that didn't last too long. Another scent hit her nose, causing her to look around for the source. The scent was faint, but it was close from where she stood. Tan paws carried her towards the other side of the beach, brushing the sand along the shore with each step she took. Before she knew it, she was there.
Red and blue eyes looked around for the source of the smell. Slowly, they finally fell upon a brown form relaxing on the dunes. The wolf, obvious by the ears and tail, was softly shaking from silent weeping and Odette's concerns hit the roof. She walked towards the girl, unsure of how close would be too close. "Are...are you all right?" she asked, her form still dripping with ocean water.
