Try and Try Again
Silver paws pressed against the earth as she skirted around Imperium, following his scent until his pale shadow crept into view. "I'm sure you look like hell." She would purr, seeking to creep up behind him. Amusement danced across her features as her coral gaze inspected him from head to toe. Nostrils quivered inhaling the scent of Imperium that clung faintly to his bloodied pelt. Eyes would narrow fractionally. And yet, she couldn't see him attacking her son, nor could see, unfortunately, see her son doing anything that would warrant an attack from the Abaven King.

OOC : Omg Cata gets Bass' 400th post
He just wanted to get home and crawl into a den and sleep forever. However, that would not be the case as the oh-so-familiar voice of Cataleya called out to him. A low growl sounded in his throat at her words, head slowly turning to gaze at her. I feel like it too. Just had to banish my own sister from Abaven so excuse me if I'm not cheery," he said with a scowl, taking this opportunity to stop and sit, slowly stretching his aching paws. He didn't feel like talking about it at the moment, she could go back to Imp and talk to her son about that. He just wanted to go home, and maybe get some drugs to take away the pain. He had been stupid to walk all the way from the battlefield to here right after, his damn shoulder was so badly bruised he felt like tearing it off himself. He sighed, knowing that she was probably going to load on the questions. And to think, it wasn't too long ago that she had showed up and bled all over his border, and how he had gone and smugly bled all over her sons borders. Oh the irony. "And why are you here anyways?" Bass questioned her, a brow raising as he inspected her silver face. She would have had to follow his scent to get here, and why? Perhaps she was concerned for him, a thought that almost made him laugh. However, she had surprised him in the past, it was hard to know what she was going to do next.
Now that she was beside him, she thoroughly inspected his injuries, blood caking his shoulders and scruff, he had a slight favoring to his left foreleg. A brow would lift. Her own injuries had healed enough that she would move without her chest bursting open and bleeding all over the place. Her ribs didn't burn quite so much with every breath, nor did she walk with a limp. Now she just had to go visit her son and get the story from him, she had feeling that Bass might have a different view point than Valentine. "I must say, I'm surprised to find you so alone." She would purr, danger mingling with vague amusement. The last time she had seen him, he had been so worried about being caught. But now he sat before her, far from his home, and utterly alone. It was almost to easy toying with him. Even if she never admitted it, she did on some small level, care for him.
