When his pairing was announced, Angelus crowed loudly. Yes! He was looking forward to putting the constipated girl in the dirt. His daddy had told him to kill her with kindness, but he had no idea how that worked. So far silence had been his kindness and somehow she was still alive and kicking. Maybe he needed to try harder.
With a spring in his step, he frisked away, calling loudly over his shoulder, "Come on, you! Let's go!" As his daddy had in his fight, the boy looked for a good, flat place to spar. He was a bit nervous, but not terribly so. Defenses were easy, he had those down perfectly, but attacks and counters required a level of finesse he had yet to master.
