As if she really needed another beating. She didn't feel as if she were ready to spar again, maybe it was just psychological; maybe she was imagining the pain in her paw. But she wouldn't think that, can't be clear if it's fake if your crazy. She made her way away from the group of others, just as everyone else who was sparring did, and would turn back around and wait for the woman named Aislinn to find her. She took a seat, but whenever the woman came to approach her, she would stand instantly and roll her shoulders. "Let's get this over with." Her eyes would lazily look around the woman but also on her but stayed in no particular spot. "Beat the blind girl; you win, no hard feelings." Her one functional eye would move to earthen girl, a tiny grim smile set across her maw. She hadn't met anyone in Arcanum other than the one who claimed her and Cataleya. She was mostly out at night but avoided most anyone when she saw them. Though she couldn't go unnoticed. She felt like everyone was hiding behind her and staring and talking. The woman slithered through the breaking crowd after having her announced sparring partner's name stored in her mind. She made no hesitations in finding the individual known as Chione. Her vision studied every feature of the younger girl as she approached her. Movements halted as she stood facing her opponent, leaving a gap of five metres between them. The scent of Arcanum clung to her pelt, was she a new arrival? Obviously so, judging by her blinded right eye. Assumptions told her the fight had not ended in the girl's favour. A sweet sickly grimace tugged at her expression. Already gotten into a fight, haven't we dear? Defences instinctively and smoothly fell into place. Shoulders rolled forward, head lowered to align with spine and straightened tail while hackles raised and abdominal muscles tightened. Legs were planted firmly, evenly distributing her weight across all four limbs. Toes splayed out with claws dug into the soil for grip. Ears laid flat on her skull as lips curled into a snarl and cheeks scrunched. Through a narrowed cerulean gaze her eyes locked onto the slightly smaller opponent directly facing her. Let's see how you really move. Whether her opponent was ready or not, the spar would commence. She began with a smooth charge, attempting to close the distance in as few strides as possible. After travelling half the distance, her left shoulder would jut out forward, attempting to drive it into the centre of Chione's chest upon impact. Her head snapped to her left, chin tucking slightly as jaws parted. In a swift movement, she would attempt to sink her upper teeth in the space between Chione's eyes (closer to her left eye) and her lower teeth in the centre Chione's left cheek. While this happened, Aislinn's right foreleg would tightly wrap around Chione's left foreleg (a little further up from the ankle), attempting to yank it in a straight direction sidewards on Chione's left in the hopes of spraining the muscle or disrupting balance. The woman would keep five meters between them as she found the girl and wouldn't hesitate to start the fight. Chione may have been giving her the first move, but maybe not. The woman had not said anything in return to her. Seeing as Aislinn had started a stride towards her, Chione would instantly tense up her muscles, mainly around her neck and shoulders, and spread her legs wide for even and firm ground. Her toes splayed and dug claws into the ground as she bent her back legs so that when the two collided she wouldn't move much. Her tail straightened and raised to point back and readied to move for balance. Her head was lowered to match the length of her spine, her neck was scrunched, and her chin was tucked as she prepared for the collision. Eyes narrowed and ears pinned just as the two hit. Taking note that Aislinn's left shoulder came forward, Chione tried her best to move away from that side (pulling her right shoulder backwards), though the two still made a hit. Chione pushed into her opponent as Aislinn went for a bite too close to her functioning eye than she was comfortable with. Only infuriating her, not scaring her. The bite was successful and Chione would then try to lunge her face forward, turning her head away from Aislinn's head (to the right since Aislinn is on the left), and spreading her jaws to try to grab onto both sides of her windpipe/throat area just under her jaw bones (top teeth would be on Aislinn's left side, bottom on the right.) At the same time, Chione would jump her front legs up, standing on her back legs, and try to to push her pawpads and as much power as she could into Aislinn's chest. If she couldn't couldn't get her paws to do so, she bent her front legs and kept them lifted from the ground and just held her balance until another move was played out by her opponent. Throughout the fight, defences remained in place. Chin was tucked close to her throat, head lowered to align with spine and tail, neck and cheeks scrunched and hackles lifted. Shoulders rolled forward with slightly bent legs an equal distance apart creating a balance in her weight. Ears were flat against her skull, eyes narrowed, lips pulled back into a snarl and muscles tense. Her slam and bite had been successful attacks, sending pride burning through her body along with adrenaline. The taste of her opponent's blood stained her teeth, fuelling her energy to fight onwards. Without warning, the girl's jaws clamped around the windpipe area of Aislinn's throat, biting without causing any damage to her windpipe (I asked Chrono about this and she said it was only an attempted bite). Momentarily, the woman's breath was cut short in a brief silent gasp before regaining a normal breathing pattern. Dodging Aislinn's planned sprain on her opponent's left foreleg, Chione rose to her back legs, preparing to bring her raised forepaws down onto Aislinn's chest (Chione's left forepaw to the chest area closest to Aislinn's right shoulder and Chione's right forepaw to the cheat area closest to Aislinn's left shoulder. Chrono confirmed this for me). The militant swiftly backed away before her opponent's forelegs could make contact, taking a few steps back (leaving a distance of no further than two metres between them) and rising to her own hind legs. Weight quickly redistributed to provide balance upon her hind legs. Lifted forelegs would crash upon her opponent in an attempt to forcefully slam the lower half of her forelegs onto Chione's central neck area (Aislinn's left foreleg will be on the right of side Chione's neck and her right foreleg will be on the left side of Chione's neck). After the slam, her forelegs would shape into a tight hold, wrapped around Chione's central neck area as a precaution for the following attack. Unhinged jaws lunged forward in an attempt to grab hold of the girl's scruff and bite viciously into the flesh while her forelegs were wrapped around her opponent's neck. With enough struggle, her opponent may be able to writhe away from her grasp. As her opponent went backwards, Chione would loosen her grip on the woman's throat enough so that she could be free but it was possible there could be minor tear marks from pulling away. Aislinn rose to her back legs as well, Chione's attempt to place her paws on her chest failing. Aislinn would wrap her legs around Chione's neck and try to hold her grip there with another bite to Chione's scruff. The girl turned her head opposite of her opponents bite, (Aislinn does have a bite on Chione's scruff, also going to say Chione is turning her head to the right; unsure where Aislinn is aiming her bite) aiming to bite the top of the woman's left leg, right below where the skin would be scrunched between her leg and her shoulder/chest (Her teeth would be placed on each side of her leg, top teeth on the outside (Aislinn's left) and bottom teeth on the inside (Aislinn's right)). Whether she made a successful bite or not, she would try to do just as she did in her fight with Aerndis; drop all her weight opposite of her attempted bite (dropping to her left, Aislinn's right) with a little push from her back legs to try and get through the woman's legs on her neck and also hoping to get a little damage on Aislinn's left leg from her weight. (She will be driving all of her weight into her left shoulder after trying to raise a little with her back legs.) Throughout the fight, her defenses stayed intact. Lips were snarled, ears were pinned back, and eyes were narrowed and into thin slits. Her neck was scrunched and her muscles were tense due to the adrenaline flowing through her. Back legs were bent and spread evenly with great balance and toes were splayed on the ground while her front legs were bent and tucked close to her chest. Her tail remained out from under her and curved up from the ground. Whether Chione was victorious or not, (only valid if she is successful with escaping Aislinn's leg grip) she would roll onto her left shoulder and across her back until she was able to stand up, and she wouldn't waste anytime getting on her feet. She would shake her body from dirt and debris and give her opponent a hard gaze, seeing if she were to say anything. She was pretty silent after all; well besides her snarls and growls. Is she head on? At an angle? Does she tilt her head to the side to get at the side of Chione's scruff? There's not enough of a height difference to make reaching over plausible. 4 for powerplaying. -2 “The militant swiftly backed away before her opponent's forelegs could make contact, taking a few steps back (leaving a distance of no further than two metres between them” Since Chione's bite and rising up are supposed to be happening simultaneously I find it hard to believe that Aislinn could put so much distance between them and avoid the shove entirely. -2 “After the slam, her forelegs would shape into a tight hold, wrapped around Chione's central neck area” This is a nested attack and unfair for your opponent.
