curiosity drew the child farther from the ship than she'd ever been before, she'd failed to run into any of her siblings as she explored and so there had been no distractions or deterrents. her father and mother hadn't appeared to chide her away from wandering so far and so her path remained clear and open - she toddled through the coldness of her home with ease and an astounding lack of effort, it was as if the fae had finally found her wings among the snow and the ice.

spring brought with it great things, such as those deliciously scented animals that ran away from her and her family whenever they got too close, and the beautiful sounds of the birds in the trees. armai was convinced the birds were singing only to her, and so sometimes she'd stop and listen - today was one of those days, and perched at the very bottom of a tree, little head rested on her silver paws, she listened as nature's music lulled her into a daydream.
