Lazy day

The day was overly hot and exhaustive and it would find him sprawled out under the shade of the rocky cliff that hung above their dens, where the spray of the water as it came in and out could wash over him and well his fur felt mattered with salt, it was a refreshing feeling to have a moment of cold. This ungodly heat was going to be the death of him, he was sure, and he felt grumpy and tired, honestly he just didn't want to get up or move right then. So he decided he would simply past the day away in slumber. His eyes slid closed and in moments he was snoring, stretched out in the shade on the sand, with his head in his paws, and the occasional wave that crashed against the rocks spraying him with a fine mist of refreshingly cool, but very salty water. |
