A New Adventure
Her travels seem to take her to the most random destinations. She is not sure why she is here, standing beneath the blistering sun, staring at a stranger that stands a few yards in the distance. At first she had been exploring this place, but when she caught the whiff of a stranger on the breeze, she decided to investigate. Ever since her run in with the black male in the grapevine, she seeks to approach strangers before they can approach her. It was safer that way. Taking a few paces toward the stranger, she aims to close the distance between them, wanting to directly approach her. Apollyon is wrapped halfheartedly around her plush neck, and Marco is staying behind to observe until he is needed. Speech |
She didn’t make any growly sounds or pull her lips back or anything. So far, the red-and-black female – who also had a snake around her neck – had done nothing to hurt her. Carefully keeping her voice neutral, asked, “Who are you and what do you want?”
The stranger stops what she is doing and turns her attention on the carmine viper, who in response stops a few feet away. The woman seems weary, but does not make any aggressive gestures. When the woman addresses her, she smiles in amusement. "I am a traveler, and I have no intentions." She lazily responds, her facial features void of all emotion besides the smile spread across her lips. It is not an inviting smile, but a smile that expresses her interest. Apollyon slithers in a complete circle around her throat, his tongue slipping in an out of his mouth as he studies the stranger with intensity. He wonders what type of encounter they will experience today.

“I see,” she said, nodding a bit, attempting to warm the other to her. “No intentions, huh? Does that mean you have nowhere to be? Perhaps we could sit and talk for a while.” Of course, the wolf with the snake around her neck could refuse her offer, but Kia sincerely hoped she wouldn’t. It had actually been some time since she had spoken to another wolf. “I’m Kia,” she added as an afterthought, hoping the inclusion of a name would help the other settle into some sort of conversation.
