It wasn't rare to find the Destruction children out and about more and more frequently now. Aslan himself had certainly wandered around a fair amount and continued to do so. His mother and father were occupied by other things, whether these responsibilities he'd heard mentioned or with his other siblings he wasn't entirely certain. He had opted instead to venture out, perhaps he would find them or perhaps he would find another member of the family. It was a very big family he had quickly come to realise, and even more members of it lived outside of Threar, would he ever meet them all? He wasn't sure but for now no real exploration to find his unknown relatives was needed, he was happy disturbing his parents, siblings, grandparents, aunts and uncles or cousins whoever he happened to come across first.
Only he had ran out of land he had suddenly realised. He hadn't quite hit the sea yet though even from the distance he was currently at he could see there was only water ahead. That was a big river, he couldn't even see the other side of it, not like the streams at the falls or the river of Kamui Delta, there didn't seem to be an end at all for it! Curious he would venture closer, as if the land would magically appear, though there was only water and now as he watched it he noticed the waves, the water rushing towards him and then running away. He would stalk closer, attention fixed upon them now as he inched into the water and then, as the next wave came in, he pounced!
"Gross!" He would declare loudly as he retreated from the waves in his games he'd learnt the hard way that sea water was not drinking water.
He was simultaneously proud and worried that his children had more freedom now, proud in that they were old enough to start caring for themselves and worries that they were not old enough to start caring for themselves. Did they realize how little they were still? How much danger there was out there for a small pup like them? Of course he couldn?t keep his eye on them 24/7, but his mind seemed to think that it could think of them continuously. He was thinking of them even now as his chocolate paws carried him around the borders of the pack. He?d find himself on the edge with the beach just in time to catch a glimpse of Alsan?s form on the soft sands.
The boy would eventually make his way to the water?s edge, eyes fixed intently on the waves that played on the shore. An amused smile would play on his lips as his son pounced at the water and quickly made a retreat. Frith would laugh heartily as he made an approach of his son, tongue would roll out of his mouth in amusement. "How?s the sea water, son?" He?d chuckle again before nudging the boy?s shoulder with his snout encouragingly.

No, Aslan certainly had failed to realise the danger he could potentially get himself into if he wasn't careful. It wasn't just the people he ran into but the places he explored though the chocolate pup was oblivious to that fact, unknowing of his parent's worries. He would think it more of a coincidence than through watchfulness that his father had ran into him now he would give the man a soft nudge in return and pull a slight face at the question, recalling the awful taste that the water had left in his mouth.
He was currently uneducated in the fact that the wide expanse of water ahead of him now was sea, and certainly would not the refreshing taste of the water at the falls. "Sea" He would enquire the meaning for this strange new words. "Does that mean it tastes bad?" If so he'd definitely call this stuff sea water.
He wasn?t sure that he?d ever feel comfortable with his children roaming the world on their own, they were so vulnerable and knew not the harsh realities of the world. The dark wolf would do his best to watch out for them, teach them and care for them but he had doubts that he?d feel like he?d ever ready them as fully as he wished. However, he would do his best to prepare them. Today it seemed like one of those lessons would be administered. Though maybe a little too late for Aslan?s taste buds. He?d take the affectionate gesture from Aslan as his ears perked forward at his question. He?d chuckle once more, finding that the entertainment of the situation would outweigh his worries for now. "I suppose you could just say that. It?s salt though." He?d also learned this from his mother, much in the same fashion as his son now. "When sea water dries up there?s a crystal left over, that?s what gives it such an.. unpleasant taste." He?d smile again, hopeful that his explanation was acceptable.

So the boy wasn't technically correct in his assumption, there apparently still was some truth to his guess however and Frith would point that out to him. The salt and the crystals that the older man had mentioned still left Aslan a little confused by it all. Then another realisation occurred to him as he glanced down at his wet fur and then looked back up to his father. "Is the salt bad?" He didn't simply mean taste bad, that one had already been established. No his concern was now for what would happen to him when the water dried off, would these crystal things be stuck to him, would be be ok? "I went in the water, I'm going to be ok right?"
The wonder in which the children saw the world was rather amazing, though in this instance it seemed Aslan was more worried than curious. He couldn?t help the amused smile that played on his features, his son would ask shyly if the salf was bad. Another chuckle would fall from his lips, he?d never thought salt was bad. He was almost sure that they needed it in their diet to survive, or at least the deer did. He?d seen them licking natural salt blocks. He?d tried it himself and he had to say it was not pleasant. "No, it?s not bad for you," he?d go on, worrying about his wetted fur, "It might feel a little odd, but it won?t make your fur fall off or anything." In reality he probably should have been a bit more concerned about the sand that was clinging to their paws, "It just tastes bad is all." He?d bump his son?s shoulder with affection and encouragement. He would not be harmed by the salty water today.

Frith wouldn't share any of the worry about the salt water and the crystals that it dried into now soaking the child. At his father's response, Aslan would find his own brief fear fading away now as well the crystals wouldn't do any damage it seemed so he would be ok. He would nod his head lightly, taking in his father's words and trying to make sure he could recall and understand them as necessary. The small bump to his shoulder would cast such thoughts aside however and in return for the gesture the boy would move forth to attack his father's nearest leg, all in play of course. He certainly couldn't imagine ever seriously wanting to harm the man though thoughts of salt and crystals would be banished for now, gripped be the urge to play instead.
He wouldn?t expect the sudden attack of his leg that his son would suddenly bring forth, he?d call out in mock alarm and pull away from the offense. He?d growl playfully, becoming determined in his son?s play as teeth met fur and the boy would hold tight to his limb. A short laugh would sound from the older man?s lips as he bent his head and opened his jaws, aiming to take the scruff of the growing boy and toss him away. Even with Frith?s strength he would have trouble removing his son from his leg, she he?d join him in the sand. Frith?s legs would crumble beneath his weight as he aimed to really get down and wrestle with his son. Another growl would leave his throat as he curled around the small wolf, his jaws gently gnawing on his scruff.
