Immediately after the training she would pull Shaye aside and nod her head for Shai to follow as well. She would move a little bit away from the wolves who had attended the meeting to create a private bubble for herself and her family – or well, whatever category she and Shai fell in, Shaye would always be family to them both. She nuzzled her little girl as the little wolf sat between mother and father. She gave Shai a tentative smile, wondering how after all this time she still couldn't quite decide what she and Shai where. Through no matter how confusing that was, they would always be parents and it was for this that she had asked him to come as well.

“Shaye, you've passed your 6 months mark, that means that you need to decide what you want to do in life and train for it. You can be a guard, which is a fighter and protector for Abaven, or you could be a healer, and now theirs a rank that a mixture of both – a field medic, which requires fighting and healing. There is also a messenger, or a hunter” she concluded, and raised her eyebrow at her daughter. She was astonished to realize she had no idea what rank her daughter would go after.

Shaye had sat patiently in the meeting, watching her mother and trying to keep up with everything going on. She wasn't wholly familiar with the rank titles, but she did beam at her Mother as she got some sort of promotion, or rank change thingy. Shai had sneaked in just before the meeting started, and of course made his way towards her. She leaned against her daddy, she loved him dearly, through she felt like she hadn't spent nearly as much time with in Abaven as she had back in his home lands.

After the meeting ended, Motif called her and her daddy aside and she followed after obediently. She hadn't really gotten the importance of Bass's words, that six months and over pups had to choose a path, so her mother laying it out for her was exactly what she needed. She screwed up her face as she thought, trying to decide if this was a good thing or a bad thing. It meant she wouldn't have as much free time, but that people would start really looking at her as an adult, it also meant she got to learn stuff, and she had always found that fun.she looked to Motif, and then up at Shai who she was leaning against, before speaking. “I like the idea.. of being a healer” she hesitated, unsure how her mother would take that. Even as Shaye said the words she got sad, she wanted Rhy to teach her to heal, but then.. maybe she could. Next time she saw Rhy she would ask her! Of course, she would have to have a teacher in Abaven too, but that was okay. “I kinda like the idea of being a messenger too, can I learn both mommy, daddy?” she asked.

The tall monster wolf had no trouble following after Shaye as Motif motioned him and their daughter over to her. He'd smile softly, remembering clearly the wink she'd offered him at the meeting. He had every desire to offer his congratulations on her rank with an affectionate touch, but would refrain. His attentions would remain on the chocolate woman as she spoke to their daughter, it was time to start really training. He'd stand beside her, letting her lean on him as she thought about the question. It seemed that she'd at least put a bit of thought in her decision before the meeting, her decision didn't take much time but she did offer two fields that she found she enjoyed. Shai found himself beaming proudly. He knew a slim bit of healing, and he would of course enjoy practicing some endurance running with his long legged daughter. "As long as that's what your heart is telling you to do I can not offer any protest." He'd tell her as he leaned over to nuzzle her white marked features.

Motif would watch their daughter as she thought the question over. Motif was amazed to see her in contrast to her gian father - not how much smaller she was too him, but how big, like him, she was growing to be. She knew that soon shaye woulsnt be her little girl any more, and she wasn't sure how she felt about that. When shaye did speak, it was hesitantly, and her words bit into motifs heart. She wanted to be both healer and messanger. Did... Did she know that rhythm had been both in her time in abaven? She looked at her daughter and she saw so much of shai and rhythm, that she had to wonder, was there anything of herself in her own girl? She smiled immediately after, realising something she had given shaye - her stubborness, and perhaps her pride. She would no longer let thoughts of rhy drag her down, instead she would lean forward to kiss shaye, and smile at her father as told their daughter he would stand with her no matter what she chose. "Yes, you can do both, but perhaps you can choose a primary one later on. Ill work out who will be training you and you'll be fine" she promised, and after ruffling her daughter hair she stepped back, to look into those blue eyes of her daughter. "Rhy was messanger and healer, did you know that?" she out loving pride into the question, so shaye knew that whatever her answer, motif wouldn't be mad.

Her dad would be the first to speak, and she would of course have his support as he agreed with her decisions, and she leaned further back to him to kiss the bottom of his chin as she grinned playfully up at him, as she purposely tilted her head to the side so her feather touched her father's. Motif would speak next, and it would be her agreement that shaye hadnt been sure of it. It was a pleasent surprise when her mother suported her, althrough advised that she might need to chose one to concentrate on the most later on. Shaye nodded easily in agreement to this, she didn't want to ruin this streak of good luck in them all being in agreement.

When motif spoke the name of her auntie, however, she expected her good luck to end. But the pride in love that came with the question caught her by suprise, ans she shook her head slowly "I knew she was a healer, didn't know messanger too" she explained, before looking up at her father again "after I'm practised we should race!" She said eagerly, the joy of the moment, of motifs accettsnce of this and rhy both, ans the chance to learn all bubbled up inside of her in happy excitement.

He'd receive a loving kiss as he nuzzled his smaller daughter. He'd smile down at her as he felt her tongue against his chin. He couldn't help but feel a pride knowing how much she was growing, at the same time the feeling was bittersweet. His baby was growing up in more ways than one, her future height was becoming more and more obvious. Surely by the next season the girl would overtake her mother's height. Shai's attention wouldn't keep on her fully as Motif would allow her opinion out. An answer to Shaye in regards to choosing two tasks, what she said after wasn't so surprising either, but the way she spoke of Rhythm's specialties surprised him. The tall wolf would raise an eyebrow at Motif but Shaye's words would bring him back to her. He couldn't help but beam down at her, "Of course. I wouldn't want anything else." He'd lean down to nuzzle into her cheek.
