He was just checking out a strange hole, head cocked sideways with eyes squinting against the sun. It was weird, unlike anything he had ever seen before while with the group. It made the boy wonder if an animal made it, a bear in blind rage pounding the ground so hard that it gave way. Just the thought was enough to send a shiver down his spine, giving his head a small shake before pulling back. Now his plan was to look for a new master, hopefully get a steady supply of meals and a safe place to sleep before the weather really started to get back.

His plans would change however when he took a wrong step, the edge of the hole giving way beneath the boy and sending him tumbling down. His body rolled and twisted, legs flailing in a sad attempt to grab the ground but only resulted in getting banged by rocks, sending a hoarse yelp into the air. It only lasted for a matter of seconds till he finally bonked his head, world going dark and body limply sliding down the rest of the way before settling in a little bed of green vegetation.

Renhett had been enjoying herself in this crevice of land, even if it had been difficult to crawl down it. The place was covered in green plants and other things she wanted to study and get a hole of, of course there were no useful herbs due to it being a place where only weeds and maybe a few flowers could grow. Although she had found some mushrooms, which seemed to be the ones that affected the mind in a way another would describe, strange. Deciding not to touch them she swung her hips around humming a song in the cave until she jumped hearing dirt give away at the end of the cavern where another opening was in the land. After the falling had ended, the rather oddly colored gray lady would approach the new shape. It was a wolf.

A small smile grew on her face, although it was rather sad she had fallen in. Hopefully unharmed because this place lacked herbs besides for a few cobwebs she could use to patch up any bleeding wounds. Was she okay though? Hoping forward she placed her paws out in front of her, red gleaming eyes making an effort to search her over. "Are you alright?" she asked, tilting her head to the right.

The side of his skull had split in a gash, nothing too severe but also nothing small. Had somebody not been nearby he probably would have been lost to the darkness for much longer, but thankfully a sweet voice stirred him, his visible ear twitching briefly. His body trembled faintly, a few cuts here and there along his front legs and face, they wouldn't leave any scarring once healed so they were nothing to worry too much about. Finally his ear pulled back against his skull, tail sweeping around momentarily, pausing before wrapping around his hip. A low whine was muffled from his closed jaws, head shifting in the plants, flinching as a twig scratched across the open gash on his temple.

Eyes fluttered open, eyes rolling in their sockets as they tried to focus on his new surroundings and the change of lighting. What, where was he? There was a voice, asking if he was alright. It frightened Squirrel, enough that his head actually jerked up and swung towards the voice, bronze eyes going wide at the sudden appearance of another. His legs flailed in the vegetation, kicking and pushing, trying to get away from the unknown wolf as quickly as possible. He would only manage to scoot back barely a foot, his head held low, low, hoarse whines being emitted.

When it became clear to her that the other was injured, her ears perked a little. Of course the scent filling her nose as well, it was a male as she had misjudged it from earlier. Her tail would flick to the left a little, she didn't approach the small one at all. Her head stayed tilted as she simply observed the man freak out and try to back up as much as possible followed by a few whines. She was able to see the wound on his head, and a few cuts and bruises. Well she couldn't treat them here, and definitely not in his paranoid state either. For a moment Renhett held a straight face, her thinking face as her eyes darted over him for his body language once more. Time to go to work, she smiled at him.

She would slink her body to the ground, tucking her tail between her legs. As many wolves did, to show she was not threatening, letting a whine that pitched in with his own leave her jaw. As she let out a small shrill noise that signified she meant no harm. In order to treat him she needed a better look, and his anxiety and fright would not help his mental state either. "I am not going to hurt you." she said very softly. Like a mother talking to her pup. "I am here for you, to help you. If you can calm down, I can make it stop hurting. Does it hurt?" she asked him out loud rather than inside of her head.

The strange lady was going to hurt him for falling in her hole, she was going to bite his neck, throw him further in the darkness. No, Squirrel didn't want it, he had a task to complete! So he lay there trying to push away from the big lady, pausing when he realized that he couldn't go much further like that, his legs not wanting to cooperate and do as his brain said. Not only that but a headache was throbbing within the boys skull, unaware of the large gash in his temple.

Slowly the fright would fade, or at least become controlled as the young wolf watched the stranger get low to the ground, tail tucking in and whining to show that she was not a threat and he wasn't in danger. Labored breathing growing less and less raspy, large bronze eyes watching her every movement and ears catching every sound she made as she tried to get closer. She said she wouldn't hurt him, her voice soft, a tone he wasn't familiar with back in the group he had been living with. She was here to help, and if he calmed down then she could make the hurt stop, asking if it hurt.

Squirrel lay there thinking about it, trying to figure out if she really was just trying to help or was trying to trick him into believing that before making her move. Before he could allow her to get any closer however, the body finally felt the blood that had been oozing from the wound on his head, a single strip sliding around his socket and down his snout. Blood. His body went stiff, light colored eyes looking to the lady, his expression morphing into a plea. 'It's on me, make it leave!' Just then his eyes slid shut and he jerked his head back before rapidly begin to shake, sending it splattering against the plants around him and up into the air with muffled growls and whines, jaws clenched.

Renhett would shut her eyes as he shook his head, not entirely happy to get blood all over her face. She recoiled a little, he would hurt himself more if he kept doing that. However she had managed to calm him down if only a little. The woman would remain calm even if it had made her a bit grumpy. Keeping a smile on her face she could only stop the bleeding for now, so she went into one of the crack and pulled out as much cobwebs as she could. As hard as it was with how sticky they were, her paws managed to roll it up into a thin line enough to place it on the wound. She would crawl towards him, she looked at him softly just to tell him she was going to put it on and it wasn't going to hurt him. "This is going to feel a bit weird, but it will stop the bleeding." Renhett placed the cobwebs on top of the wound carefully. Making sure it stuck and would stop any blood from getting out.

"In order to make it stop hurting and heal you completely I need to get you out of this place. Can you walk and do that for me sweety. If you need help you can lean on me." She stood off to the side waiting to see what he would do. Renhett watched him carefully, after all her first priority was getting him out of here and him being okay. She didn't want to risk losing any fur or gaining any scars, but that was the risk you had to take when you were a doctor like she was.

Shaking the blood from his face the boy seemed to calm down almost immediately, if you could call it that. Squirrel went still, forelegs propping up the front half of his body in an awkward half laying down and half sitting position, sides rising and falling rapidly with his breathing, eyes wide and watching the stranger. He would remain motionless when the wolf spoke, large eyes looking to the weird stuff she had before quickly going back to her face. She said it was going to feel weird but the bleeding would stop, that was good, Squirrel liked that.

Eyes closed tightly as the female came in and applied the cobwebs, flinching at first because he wasn't sure what to expect. And just like that she was done, his eyes opening slowly, revealing some confusion. He tilted his head first left, paused, then to the right, trying to see the cobwebs she put on him. His attention was refocused on the woman when she spoke again, telling informing the boy that in order for his head to stop hurting and heal thy would need o get out of this hole, asking if he could walk and allowing him to lean on her if he had to.

Squirrel nodded his head carefully, trying not to make the stuff fall off the wound on his head. Forelimbs spread, trying to distribute his weight as he leaned forward to give his back legs some room to slide beneath him. When it came to actually standing though he would clearly have a bit of trouble, limbs shaking. It wouldn't stop the boy however, he would keep lifting himself till he was full standing beside the woman, looking up to her for praise.
