She was bleeding and sore but the victor was her, she could hardly believe it as her wounds bled. Her cheek and her shoulder were covered in her drying blood while she was very much distracted by the pain in her toes. Their spar had hurt a whole lot more than she'd expected and she knew it would only get worse as the adrenaline faded. She'd try to keep her own wounds from her mind as she looked to her opponent sprawled on the ground. "Good fight," she'd observe as she offered to help the other she wolf from the ground. She was still in disbelief at her accomplishment, Valentine was going to be so proud of her! "If ou let me, I"ll help patch up your wounds," she couldn't help but to offer. Just because she'd caused the wounds didn't mean she wanted them to stay open and leave Lysis in pain. ""

Lysis hadn't expected to stumble. The force of Rhythm's shoulder to her chest had caught her off-guard and she was sent sprawling to the ground. Suddenly, it seemed as though all adrenaline had faded from her and she was made painfully aware of the pain that ebbed through her body. Her jaw ached and she felt a sharp, white-hot pain along the base of her skull. For awhile she would lay there, her vision wobbling though she was still quite conscious. Luckily Rhythm seemed to take her fall as a sign of defeat and was quick to pull away and stop the fight. "Good fight..." she would mumble in response from between gritted teeth, straining to pull her neck so she could see Rhythm properly. Though the other woman was in better shape, she was certain she'd given it her all, and there was no doubt Rhythm would be hurting in the morning too. She didn't expect Rhythm to offer to help her with her injuries, though she hadn't necessarily expected anything. Hell, she hardly knew her opponent. "Okay," she'd reply simply, wincing a bit as she drew herself onto her belly to a more comfortable position.

As the sparring she wolves fell apart Rhythm would not reinitiate contact, the battle was through and they'd both learned from their time together. Now was time for healing, though Rhythm was definitely feeling the wounds she had received Lysis seemed to be in worse shape. She could tell there was pain in the other she wolf as she gritted her teeth and repeated the phrase she'd just offered. Rhythm would need to clean herself up after see saw to Lysis wounds, Rhy had not even come close to escaping unscathed. As she offered help it seemed Lysis might have been slightly more dazed than herself, and her pain was apparent with every movement. She'd have to wait for the pain relief, all of Rhythm's herbs were back at her den. Taking in a deep breath Rhythm wouldn't hesitate any longer and would again draw more near to Lysis. Instead of malice Rhythm would offer nothing but a gentle touch. Having recieved permission already Rhythm would go right to the most severe of her opponent's injuries. Her pink tongue would sneak from her chocolatey lips as she attempted to clean up the bit wound at her skull. Though her touch was tender she was sure Lysis would hardly be comfortable during the process. Pausing for a moment she'd add, "After you're clean we should go to my den so I can get you some herbs." Her words were soft, and she wondered how the Armada girl might think of her after their spar. ""

Though she thought her first instinct, in such a state, would be to find Kyarst -- she wanted anything but. Did she really want him to see her like this? Honestly, not really. Another groan left her lips as she tried to let her muscles relax, feeling the pain wash over her like an ocean wave over the shoreline as the adrenaline drained from her. Trusting Rhythm - at least as much as she could, without knowing much about her beyond her place in the pack - she would arch her neck slightly to the side to give the other woman better access. It was strange to be touched by another that was not her brother, and though she cringed as Rhythm began to clean her wounds, it was not altogether unpleasant. She would grunt gently in reply to the instructions that they should get herbs at her den afterward. Cleaning the wound and taking something for the pain, and a good rest, would be the best cure. Of this, she was certain. "Sounds like a plan to me," she'd state softly, turning briefly to eye Rhythm. "So.." she let her voice trail off as she relaxed at the healer's obviously experienced touch. "How did you come to Imperium?"

Rhythm knew it could be difficult to trust another wolf with your wounds, especially after they'd just created those same wounds. Still Lysis would not flinch as she began to clean them. Her herbs would complete the treatment, but for now clearing away the dried blood and exposing them to the air would be all she could do. The plan was given to the alabaster she wolf, and agreement would be offered back. Lysis didn't seem like she held any resentment for the outcome of their fight, her voice just as gentle as Rhythm's had been as she watched the healer. An innocent question would leave the other woman's jaws as she relaxed into Rhythm's touch. "The short answer is Valentine asked me to stay here." It was simple and she didn't have to go into a long explanation of all the players involved in getting her here. If Lysis wanted the long answer though Rhythm wouldn't have hesitated in telling her. "You came here with Kyarst, right?" ""

Though the pain was undeniable, it was far from the worst she had experienced. Getting some actual medical attention would certainly help the healing process. And though she knew that she could superficially trust Rhythm, it was difficult to relax at the near-stranger's touch. Lysis had only known true trust with her family. Still, she figured it was highly unlikely that Rhythm would do anything to jeopardize her position in the pack - which was mainly why she trusted her with this care. Her head would angle up slightly as Rhythm anwered her question. She was happy to reply to the question she received back, nodding. "He's my half-brother," she would tell her, unsure how much she knew about either of them, if anything. "We heard Roman and Drashiel's children were here, so we decided to stay." She made no mention of the fact that they had essentially told them they wanted nothing to do with them.. that was a subject for another time, if ever.

She would try and finish quickly so she did not leave Lysis lingering in her pain, she was careful in doing a complete job however, and she wasn't about to let the wounds get infected. She'd answer the question and give her own in between licks, and as she moved down the wounds Lysis would answer and mention children. The names were vaguely familiar, she'd met Drashiel at Yfir's festival briefly but Roman's name was unknown. Had she heard that Drashiel had died? "Did you ever find them?" She'd only said they heard that the children were here, but was that fact? Rhythm would finish her first cleaning, and with her chocolate lips turned up in a gentle smile she would pull away from the other woman.Wordlessly she would beckon Lysis to follow as she led the way to her den. "How long have you been training?" She'd ask offhand, wanting to stray from the topic of family, especially when she knew how quickly those kinds of conversations could go south. ""
