Night had fallen, and the boy was growing weary. His state of mind was not quite the same it had been before, thoughts swimming in his head as he tried to learn the truth about who his true mother was...but to no avail. It only frustrated him further, making his mind grow eary and exhausting him. He couldn't think of anything else, which in turn, made him not even think about food. He had grown thinner, his ribs showing a bit beneath his pelt and his fur not as lustrous as it had been. He also appeared gaunt, a ghost of his former self until the truth could be resolved.

He remained at the peak of moontouched cliffs, the moons rays casting upon him its glow. He was growing so tired...and before he knew it, the sleep he had been losing the last few nights finally engulfed him. The boys eyes closed and he'd begin to dream.

There was a sort of peace in death, one that he had never known. Kau finally felt like he found his place, and the bastard was at peace. He would move through the world of the dead at a pace that was almost leisurely, strolling through the misted lands as if they were home to him. For now that he was dead there was nothing else to do except exist in this plane. Exist he did. He moved with purpose, his mind at a constant race, and his heart longing for someone he had not yet found.

Avion.

His beloved mate and partner. He missed him dearly. The brute was whole again in death, even if his body had been destroyed. The man searched desperately for Avion, while also thinking of his son and the female that had once served as a mother of him. Shiki... could it be the true that Avion had been reincarnated into his son?

The male would pause, taking sight of the young one sleeping by a pool. Was he dead? No... there was something about his spirit that clearly suggested otherwise. The man would breathe in, moving to the side of his son. Was Shiki dreaming? Was that why he was here?

Kau would look down at the boy, breathing in as he nudged his son's shoulder. "Awake, Shiki." Kau would call. Let his son rise.
