It was the middle of the night and as she had promised Voltage she was watching the moon, gazing upon it’s crescent surface and drawing peace and energy from her celestial body. Within the next few days the moon would be gone and she’d be left with no celestial body to guide her for a few days… and no way to remain connected to her wayward brother.   Suppressing a sigh Selíni flopped onto her side, staring longingly into the sky. Clouds were rolling in, dark and menacing and she was reminded of her litter mate. Perhaps the black sheep of the group he was the sole one without a celestial body instead seeming much more on par with their older siblings. Maybe that was why he had kinda disappeared… either way she was going to sit on him the moment he came crawling back. ""

Arcus moved slowly, almost afraid of the silence that eveloped the packland. It was strange how much one wolf could mean, but he supposed they've feel the same if it were Glacier instead of Voltage who had left. It made him wonder....would he have been missed if he left for the trip instead? Pausing in his steps he turned ice blue eyes towards the ground, lips curled just slightly. No, he doubted they would. He tended to stick to the sidelines anyways. The other siblings would be missed. Each and every one of them....but him. He sighed soflty, continueing to move through the beach, through the den that housed their little tunnel to the cliff. He spent little time there, really. Defintally less than his littermates, because they all had reason to be up here. It was close to the celestial bodies his siblings had all come to love. But him...he could witness his element everywhere. He carried it with him. The storms of his emotions, the range he felt. From anger, to hopelessness, to lonliness. It was rarely happiness lately. He spent most of his time alone, feeling on the outskirts of his family. He didn't belong with his littermates, didn't belong with his elder siblings...he doubted if he belonged here at all. With a gentle sigh he continued to move slowly along the cliff, not noticing his lunar sister basking in her element. He didn't know why he had come along here, why he even ventured so close to where he knew his siblings woud most likely be. "Burn Baby Burn"

Speak of the devil- The scent of her wayward brother drifted towards her and she craned her neck to watch the stormy boy wandering up the slope… and it didn’t seem he had seen her yet. Turning her gaze back towards the shape in the sky she spoke, summoning the most commanding tone she could muster.  "Arcus!" She called out still not turning to look back at him. "Come settle beside me." She would extend the invitation. It would probably be best to get him closer before she started laying into him, and she did genuinely want him to sky gaze with her… if only to help reconnect some. They were the youngest of the family, well for now and were still just figuring out their places among the older group… it only made sense for them to present a united front. ""

Arcus paused midstep, slate blue eyes growing wide as he stared dead ahead. She saw him, naturally. Why hadnt he seen her? Her scent was everywhere here, perhaps that was enough of an excuse. So with a thick sigh he'd turn his head to look at her. For a moment he were silent, wondering fleetingly if he would be able to sink back into the shadows and be forgotten again. But it seemed his lunar sister had an interest in his attention, and he knew from experiance how hard it was to shake it off. "And if i refuse?" He countered instead. Arcus could take her, he had fully grown into his body despite how little he worked on it. But it wasnt like he couldnt have handled her before either, she was rather small. No, his storms fueled him too, and they lit up and clouded the clear sky of his gaze. His lips set, his jaw clenched, he merely stared and wondering just how much she wanted him over there.

She could hear him sigh and the girl rolled her eyes, glad in her choice to turn away from him for the time being. It seemed for a moment that he was going to try and slip away, a single ear perked and swivelling back slightly as she listened for any signs of a retreat. If he did she’d just have to chase him down. Then she spoke and she rolled her eyes again, finally craning her neck to look at him again. "Would you stop your brooding and get over here?" There was a slight edge to her voice but she kept her voice mostly playful. "What? You afraid I’m gonna bite you thunder butt?" Selíni knew she posed no threat, and even as she asked him teasingly a knowing smile played across her lips. ""

Arcus would huff then, his attitude sour as he glared at her. Slate blue eyes would narrow as he curled his lips. "I am not brooding" He huffed, but sighed and conceded. It was his sister after all. "I'm not coming over because I'm scared, so you know." He said, his deep voice in a growl as he moved towards her. He sat down near her, but not close enough to be familiare or to touch. He merely sat there, staring out at the horizon with a heavy sigh. He'd let silence settle around them before he grumbled to himself. And then, it seemed to flood. With a stomp of his paw he'd turn towards her. "Why does he get so much love, huh? He's gone for like..what, a week and this place feels like a ghost town! Why is Voltage so important? It makes no sense to me." He growled, eyes flashing like lightning. He was very resentful towards his more popular brother. "Burn Baby Burn"

The vixen snorted as he responded.  "Coulda fooled me." She teased and fixed him with a playful grin. He conceded though and she waited for him to settle down before speaking again. "Keep telling yourself that." They remained in silence for a while and her gaze turned back towards her celestial body. She had nothing to really say to him and if he had something on his mind it would be his choice to actually say something about it. Which he did. "Can you imagine?" She began, almost as though she hadn’t heard him. "What if it had been us who had been forced out first?"  She looked at him then. "Abandoned and wondering if we had done something wrong… why do we have to leave but our younger siblings get to stay? And then through it all you have to try and keep it together for your litter mates because if one of you breaks then we all go down." She turned away from his again, though her voice kept the same intensity. "Then you find out a year later your younger siblings were forced out too and they are just as confused and hurt as you were but you have to be the responsible ones… you can’t let them see how angry you are… how hurt you still feel. You’re forced to be the reliable one, to look after your younger siblings because that what being the oldest means." She fixed him with her pale gaze. "I don’t worship the ground they walk upon… but I recognize all they’ve sacrificed for us. Especially when they could have just walked away and left us to our fates." ""

He would listen to her intently, even as he scoffed at her words. Slate blue eyes would look at the ground, silent but raging at her words. A small part of him would see her truth, understand it, but the rest of him was nothing but a swirling, angry cloud. He wanted to rage, he wanted to stay angry to be angry because it felt better. Perhaps he was just hiding his hurt, that he felt as if he had been practically forgotten. Sure, it was his own fault for keeping distance from his family, but the more time went on the more hurt he felt. If his brothers cared about them all so much, one of them should have dug him out, right? "We would have been perfectly fine on our own." He growled deeply then, eyes narrowing before he lifted his eyes to stare at her. His gaze was intense, his jaws clenching before he quickly looked away again. "I would have taken care of you." He whispered, the rage upon his words. His chance had been stolen from him, his qualities far outshone by their brothers who had more experiance. "But instead...they get all the praise, all the love." He would move to stand then, his toes biting at the ground. He needed, desperately, to move, because he felt he would grow far too angry.
