Peas in a pod
The boy didn’t trust the older woman, family or not he didn’t like it. She had seemed to appear at a rather… convenient time and despite the way she looked (even he could not deny the similarities) he didn’t like following her so blindly. They were here now though and Daitaro had to wonder what was next. So he waited till Narfi was asleep before gently nudging Phim and gesturing for her to follow. They would be back before the woman noticed, he’d make sure of that but he wanted to speak with his sister alone, away from the prying ears of their aunt. So he led the way out of the moor, and into the adjoining plains. Spring was just beginning and that meant some of the snow had already begun to melt but there was no sight of the bigger prey he imagined were plentiful here under normal conditions. He finally stopped, sure they had put some good distance between themselves and the older woman. Daitaro settled onto his haunches and sighed. "So..." He rumbled, deep voice in a soft whisper. Crystalline orbs turned skyward to gaze upon the stars… they were both just as he remembered and yet the same as where they had been before. |
