He paced, having been alone for only a short time. The moment he had come home he had run to Glacier's arms, needing him immensely. He had shed nearly as many tears as he had when he and Glacier had first lost their parents...only this time, it was forever. There was no hope for forgiveness, no chance of answers...and now even Serefina was gone. He felt so lost, so broken, and yet somehow...nothing had changed. They had always been parentless in a way, and this meant they would no longer need to make any more trips back to the island. No future siblings...no one that would ever feel the pain they had felt. With a gentle sigh he paced, wondering if Gaia and Orchid had managed to find their way back to Donostrea. He felt horrible leaving her on the volcano, but he had had to make it home as quickly as possible. He couldn't handle the information alone anymore, not after seeing Serefina run off. He needed Glacier's cool thought process, needed him to help him relax. But now was the hard part. He had told Glacier, who he knew like the back of his paw, and his reaction had been different to what he thought it should have been. Now, they had to tell all their siblings,...So with a gentle sigh he'd move to his favorite rock, sitting down and staring out at the ocean infront of him. The day had settled to dusk since he had come home...his siblings didn't even know he had retuned. So with a gentle sigh he'd turn towards his pack and throw his head back, calling to them for the first time since he left. There wouldn't be good news this time around, if you didn't count Voltage managing to get home safe and sound. So with a sigh he'd lower his head and wait for his brother to show, as well as the rest of his siblings. ((Glacier first gais!)) "Burn Baby Burn"

Glacier wouldn't be far behind, when the call for their siblings was given and in but a heart beat he would be standing beside his brother, moving from behind to his place at Voltage's side. He didn't say anything as he stood there, but to simply nudge his head against his brothers side and look out across the pack lands. He felt weary and a little tense, through he showed neither emotion. Their pack, their family had no idea what news was about to hit them, not even a hint of what was to come and he wished he could given them some hint first, some way to ease the blow.

Of course, if there a way to ease this news, Voltage would have done so when giving it to Glacier, the pair of them would have done so before standing before them today to tell them. There was nothing they could do, they couldn't even give the best answers, they could only tell them what it was and perhaps get Orchid to give a medical assessment as well – or would that be too cold? He sighed softly, uncertain, and waited.

Locha let go a breath she didn't know she had been holding when Volatge's howl echoed around the cove. It felt as if her lungs had been holding the burden since her big brother left. But still she couldn't shake off the feeling that something was wrong. Perfectly balanced on her seaweed covered rocks, the girl hopped from one to the other and then landed on the black-sanded shore. Dry for once, Locha bounded up to Volty and Glace with a smile, but immediately slowed when she saw them clearly. She was quiet until she reached Volty and rubbed his shoulder lovingly. After moving back a little so she was in front of the pair she asked quietly "What happened? No siblings, then?

Solaris knew something wasn't quite right. He couldn't put his paw on it, but he was easy for him to feel the change in the air. Something was just off kilter enough to not be right. Just as he was pondering what it could be from his cliff top perch, he heard Voltage's howl. His head snapped up and his ears perked at the sound. A slight smile touched his lips for a moment at the fact that his brother had returned, but it quickly faded when that unsettled feeling settled back in. He hurried to get up and head down the path back to the beach, spotting Voltage and Glacier with Locha making her way across the beach to them. Sol trotted forward, searching Volt and Glacier's expressions for any sign of what might be wrong. It was so hard to judge from looks alone, but if he had to guess if he waited it would all be revealed. After all, that had to be the point of the meeting besides just to welcome Voltage home. He also breifly noted the lack of any more siblings with Voltage so he assumed the trip hadn't been fruitful in that sense. He stopped a couple of feet from them, settling onto his haunches. "I'm glad you're home," he rumbled quietly to Voltage, wanting to make sure his brother knew that whatever had happened he was just glad to have him, and therefore their normal order of things around here, back. A meeting would be called, and Lior would rise from her den. She had been sorting through a couple different types of herbs. Her stock was small, the sort of stock an inexperienced healer might have. She didn't know everything about herbs, but she knew some things! Lior was learning, if nothing else, and had learned a few things from Ada while she was in Ebony. It was those teachings that inspired her, made her want to learn even more. The girl would examine the herbs once more, making sure they were properly separated before she left the den in a hurry toward the meeting.

Glacier was there, and the young black and yellow male... Voltage? Yes, she believe that was right. There was a girl marked with blue too... Locha she believed. Then another yellow and black wolf. She would sit, waiting for the meeting to begin, and all to be announced. There was a mood in the air that was certainly melancholy... and she didn't like the feel of it.

Astrea Elementas Astrea perked, her head turning to the sound of Voltage's howl, she jumped to her paws nudging Ten. The two of them ran down the slop that was the path from her normal perch. She raced to the meeting and stopped just outside of the circle. She wanted to jump to him and ask him a million questions, but stopped short when she saw the look on his face. A deep sorrow seemed to fill his eyes, even though he seems to be trying really hard to hid it. The star child lifted her paw to her opal, wishing she had gotten him and Zori up. But no matter, she was sure it was noting to bad.. Right? She sat down then, her eyes watching him, never looking away. She could feel it in her bones, something was wrong and she was most likely not going to like it one bit.

Gale Elementas Walk | Talk | Think The second she heard the sound of Voltage's voice calling out for the pack, letting the whole of them know that he had returned, she was off. Her paws ate up the ground in her rush to get from where she had been on her way toward the pack's border and back toward the center of the pack lands where she was guaranteed to find her sibling waiting for her. It did not even matter that he might have had further siblings in tow - though she would have welcomed this unknown litter whole-heartedly - but knowing he was back was more than enough to get her excited to be at the meeting already. Gale did not slow until she was almost upon the group, and with her chest rising and falling from exertion she grinned as she approached. Her wispy tail wagged as she neared, eyeing those of her family - and of the pack - that had already arrived, but the second they landed on Voltage they ceased shifting about. Others hung close, offering what looked like comfort, and not everyone was smiling. The grey and lavender wolf's own smile faltered seeing the faces of her brothers and sisters, and went away as her brow creased slightly. Was something wrong? Why were they not openly rejoicing that Voltage was home? Confused, a growing nervousness rising in her stomach, Gale stopped herself from approaching Voltage and merely stood, watching them all. Her quick words abandoned her, though she doubted any of them would have been appropriate right at this moment. Silently she waited, unsure what to expect.

Terrae Elementas Winter had come to a rather rapid end, shoving the chilly days aside but also signalling his elder brother's return from their first home. Seeing a younger litter of siblings was all the hype for the gentle healer, but more importantly to see his brother safe and sound. He wouldn't know them, but what would they look like? Would his brother have encountered their parents? So many questions danced through his mind as he made his way towards the howl, dragging Silvius along with him just so the hedgehog could meet the rest of the family. Perhaps he had expected too much. Upon his arrival, a saddened demeanour wafted through the atmosphere surrounding his family. At the sight, his pace slowed considerably as he hesitated in fear of intruding. Something was different, wrong even. Something had happened, and as much as he held the urge to grab his brother and demand what had happened, he remained in his lingering position behind the crowd. Where were his siblings - the new ones that his brother had promised to retrieve from their previous home? What if they hadn't come at all? No, they were with them in Donostrea; they had to be. There had to be another reason behind the cringing sorrow drifting around them. "Terrae speech" "Silvius speech"

Selini Elementas The vixen hardly really slept these days, so anxious was she for her brother’s return. Sure Selíni dozed during the day but it certainly wasn’t as deeply or even as often as before. She had low hopes for new siblings… unless their parents were kicking their children out earlier than before there would be no litter. The woman had no memory of any pups from her two years upon the island and so she had no hopes of finding a new group of young wolves at Voltage’s side upon his return. Voltage’s call was much anticipated and it punches straight through the weak haze of her nap and in an instant she was up on her paws. Pale gaze immediately snapped onto Voltage and she was aware of the negative feeling that hung thick in the air. Moving by instinct to her twin’s side she settled beside him, taking a brief solace in a nudge and waited for the news, her hunch feeling more and more real as time passed. "speech"

Voltage leaving the pack so soon after she had arrived had been something of a disappointment for the hunter. Of Glacier's siblings, he was easily the one that she knew and trusted the most, and to have him gone left her feeling just that much more overwhelmed within the sea of new faces in Donostrea. Of course, she was apart of them now, a fact which she was constantly reminding herself of, and she was trying to act it by not shrinking away from all these numerous siblings that the two leading brothers had, but it was still beneath it all intimidating.

Hearing the call from the missing brother brought an immediate grin to her face, the tone of the call entirely lost to her, and just as excitedly as the rest of his family Anais traveled through the pack lands and toward him, arriving when already some of his family had begun to gather around him. Almost immediately she noticed the overall air of unease, the sense of it stealing away her smile as she struggled to comprehend why the mood was not celebratory. She spotted her sister - the brave thing, she was already there! - and though she continued to throw nervous, concerned glances at Glacier and Voltage she approached Lior instead, moving in to stand beside her and letting her shoulder brush against the younger girl's in the process.

He felt so numb, everything hurt, everything stung. His whole life seemed to come crashing, and the more sorrow faces that arrived the more he felt it. Every lash...seven faces he’d have to tell, seven hearts he would potentially break. Dreams shattered, hopes for answers forever unanswered. And he was the messanger...the one who would have to tell. He barely knew who were all there, he couldn’t even tell if everyone was there, but he saw their confusion. He knew the air would be tight with sadness, he knew he did a very bad job at hiding it...if he was even attempting to hide it. Oh, he didn’t have the strength too...they would know soon. And it was all his fault. Why hadn’t he left a week earlier? They might have been able to...no, they had been dead for a while. Hanging his head, he’d miss everyone and their words, and yet it all stung so greatly. He took a deep breath and tried to steel himself against the emotion he felt, but he couldn’t. He couldn’t do a thing. He would look upon his siblings, at their concern for him...for him! If only they knew the horror he had seen..but they would. His teeth would clench then as his throat burned, trying to keep it in, but he couldn’t. Everything hurt, and now he was about to hurt them, his best friends, his life and blood, his world and his everything. "I..." He whispered, staring, eyes wide, brows furrowed. "I’m so sorry.." He whimpered, feeling it all, all the pain he might pass off too them. "Our parents are dead...I saw them...there was no new litter and they’re gone." Sure he had hated them, immensley, but they had still been their parents. They were the ones that had given life to his...his everything! "Orchid..umh, my new healing friend.."  He’d look at Terrae then, weakly trying to get across the fact that..finally, finally, Voltage had fulfilled the promise of getting him a tutor. "She...said they were gone for a while, and it wasn’t...natural...or by their hands." He said softly, looking down then. His eyes burned as the tears he didn’t know he was shedding fell to the ground. "Serefina...found me on the volcano, and I shared the news with her. She ran off...to see for herself."
