It has been about a season since the lioness had last heard or seen hide of that albino male, Hyder. She wondered where he was and what he was up to during that time, if he had claimed some land to begin his pride or if he was still looking for others to join. Better yet, was he still considering her as his girl to help run it? The woman came to a stop in the sand, green eyes narrowing at a single tree yards ahead of her. Did he find someone else more experienced than herself? Surely he would have called by now. Shaking her head, Mlezi continued forward, steps more eager when she got rid of those thoughts and noticed that an oasis was just ahead. Tongue ran over her lips, throat dry and yearning for a refreshing drink after moving through and over those sand dunes. Perhaps she would even take a dip in the water if it was deep enough. So her pace quickened, going at a light jog enough to where sand went into the air like small clouds. Coming to the edge the lioness wouldn't bother stopping for a drink, instead going fully into the water with a relived sigh till the water was up to the bottom of her jaw.

Hyder would be prowling his lands so easily, with three women under his belt. Two slaves and one companion, things were going rather slow. However, slow did not mean the day would never come. Patience was key for the lord, his paws scraping against the barren land just like home was. The west was where the lion would reside, as no packs were here either. What he caught in his pink eyed vision however, was a pleasant surprise. A small purr escaping his lips as he pulled up a smile. He roared often to claim this land as his and warn any creatures of his presence but perhaps she hadn't heard it or had been sleeping during those moments. It did not matter she was here now. Hyder would jump up next to her, or at least leaped near the female and was not worried about announcing his presence. "Mlezi, I see I have happily stumbled upon you on this find day." he would purr. No, one could not replace such a young gem as herself, and the spring air was nothing but a sign for his joy. Tail swinging behind him as the albino watched his own reflection in the water.

The lioness closed her eyes, taking long deep breaths as she both soaked up the sun's warm rays and felt her body relax with the cool water. Being considerate to a point, the woman tried to move around as little as possible that way if somebody passed by they could get a nice drink without it being filled with stirred sand. But it would seem someone's excitement had got the best of them, the sound of water splashing nearby causing the female to jolt up and whip around to see what had caused it. To her surprise, it was Hyder, the albino male she had encountered last season. Mlezi shook her head with a smirk, a brow raised as she watched him in silence, the muscle beneath her pelt visible with her soaked fur. “Siku njema, Hyder.” (good day) She purred in return, padding forward with a smile across her lips, coming to a stop in front of the male. With a tilt of her head she would look him over breifly then return to meeting his gaze, tail waising form the water. “Ukiangalia nzuri kwani sisi iliyopita alizungumza.” (you look good since we last spoke.) Had he forgotten what he had told her or was he really trying to secure land to begin this pride?

The lion would tilt his head some, he could tell she was obviously curious about something. Whether it was upset or not he couldn't tell. However, he let out a gruff and nodded his head. "Nimekuwa busy, mimi kuitwa, lakini must've wamekuwa busy na pia mimi kuomba msamaha kama hakuwa na kusikia"(I've been busy, I called, but you must've been busy as well I apologize if you didn't hear) he decided to start with that. His tail flicking back and forth, but perhaps he had gotten a little distracted. Hyder didn't want to disappoint her was one of the reasons he had been so busy. "Three slaves." he would note. "Na wewe Mlezi habari gani?"(And you Mlezi how are you?)" The lion would ask as he came near the water to take a drink himself. A large pink tongue lapping up the water. His thick mane getting slightly soaked in the process.

A brow raised as Hyder spoke, delivering the news that he had been busy and had called for her, but her absence made him think that she had been busy as well, apologizing if she did not hear it. The female lifted her head and gave a small shake, revealing that she had not heard it indeed, but as for the reason why she would not voice. It wasn't too hard to figure it out, if something had been going on then she would have an explanation, her silence spoke a simple reasoning. This would calm her nerves, the annoyance she felt within being combed into submission. Now if he had not been busy this whole time, then she would have really had an issue. What he said next brought some curiosity from Mlezi, three slaves. Were they lions as well or those strange wulvez he had explained to her the last time they were together and that she had taken in as her little experimentation. Ears perked up, the lioness taking a small step forward as he continued. To her disappointment however he didn't say anything else about the slaves, going on to ask how she was. “Nimekuwa nzuri.” she began with a coy smile, paws carrying her around the man as he got a drink. “Sababu mimi sikuona wengine yoyote kama sisi, lakini nimeona jambo la kuvutia wakati wewe tumekuwa busy.” She stated, tone of voice becoming silky smooth, as If  proud in her find. Mlezi made her way onto the shore where she shook herself off then lay down partially, front half of her body up, a paw crossed over the other. “Nimeona mmoja wa wale wulvez wewe aliniambia kuhusu.” She started up, green eyes locked on the albino male. “Wamekojolea mwenyewe mbele yangu, kiumbe maskini.” She couldn't help but chuckle when she thought back to it, funny but she also felt bad when it had happened.
