The surly giant, his footfalls heavy and his gait plodding, made his way across the Woods. He was bored. Not quite painfully bored, but bored enough that he was restless. Laufey still wasn't quite used to being in a pack. He'd grown up with the freedom to go anywhere and do anything, and while he wasn't confined to Yfir, it still felt odd to be tied to it, to have the same place to go to every night. Weirder still was the instinctual need that drove him to feel protective of Yfir's borders and its people. He may not have liked all of them or known each one (yet), but not for a second would he hesitate to come to their defense. A snap in the foliage ahead stilled him. He could go for a hunt. Or... His head lowered, nostrils flaring as he scented the ground before him. Perhaps it wasn't prey that lurked nearby.

Weakness probably stirred her more than most things, out of place and in her head. Paws pressing into the dirt and soft mud from the slightly melting snow. To distract herself from home as she always had done, there was a hunt afoot and much to her pleasure was a small doe by itself. However, her nose had picked up the scent of another. Amachi was never one to steal, so the thought of someone else hunting before her struck her. Although, a wolf needed to eat. Her head raised with the snap the animal gave off. The scent would probably be a mixture of her own and the animal, however with how Amachi stood out she was a bit farther away. Her gray eyes locked on the doe, her ears pulled forward. She wouldn't attack, she could just find another piece of prey. However, she was curious as to what this other wolf would do. Ever since she arrived here alacritis had served to be quiet interesting. ""
