Several days after returning, Arivae had already settled back into her original den. And fortunately, it was the way she left it! The stones were still pushed together neatly, the tree that towered over it was still there...the flowers that grew every spring were there. Even the small carving of her initials in the back of the den were there. That was something that made her tear up when she saw it...it was something she carved on the very first day of her life in Fiori. But there was a little problem, despite all the perfection that avoided it.

While she was gone, massive vines had grown around the rocks that formed her home, coiling around it like a snake strangling its dinner.

Arivae stood in front of the den, her bright blue eyes tracing the vines. Ah, they just wanted a home...she didn't want to rip them up and get rid of them! But...it made her home look so unorganized. The dark girl sighed, when suddenly, and idea found its way into her head. She grinned instantly and bounded away, until she came upon a bed of very pretty flowers. According to what she had studied about flowers long ago, these were snapdragons. Huh...they were lovely, that was for sure. But she wasn't sure if she got the name right. Eh, it didn't really matter either way. It wasn't like she was being tested on what flower was which.

She giggled cheerfully and picked a few, trotting back to her den and spreading them all out among the grass. "One, two, three..." She continued to count, finishing and nodding with satisfaction. "Alright!" Grinning, she scooped one up into her mouth and gripped the stem, leaping over to one of the many vines and weaving the flower into place. From there, she stepped back, her face beaming. It was perfect! The young girl continued to add flowers to the outside of the den, even singing a little tune as she worked.

"We have fallen down again tonight," She began, leaning forward with two flowers in her mouth and beginning to tie them through the long, clingy vines. "In this world it's hard to get it right." The girl sang, leaping back and grabbing some more flowers. She tried to spread them out, but at the same time she didn't want to waste them. After all, by picking them, she was basically killing them. It was a little sad, but they weren't dying in vain! Arivae ended up finishing her work quicker than she had thought, stepping back and looking over her den. It was pretty! If only Tiburtius could see it...
