The girl was curious of those who lived around here, unsure whether or not she was inclined to joining just yet, she figured perhaps maybe she would go about finding information about the various packs that seemed to dot the lands. Since she was closer to the southern pack, it would be one of many stops along the way. She trailed along the border, peeking towards the inside of the territory as she stalked several yards from the line. Part of her hoped to find the head honcho, part of her wasn't quite sure. She was a beast not easily tamed, if at all. The free spirited girl would not call, simply observe as she usually did, though her curiosity was certainly piqued. The border scent was strong, so this was definitely an active pack with many members. What she was most interested in, was who led the pack and if it was worth her time investigating. "Speech"

There was a woman on his border. He could smell her from a distance, her strong, rogue scent unmistakably feminine. So he followed at a distance, watching and waiting, seeing what she was going to do. It was pretty clear that she was interested in the pack. What wasn't clear was just where that interest was coming from. Was she a spy or a potential recruit? No, not a spy, he decided. She didn't appear to be trying to hide, so he assumed she wanted to be found. Taking longer strides, Valentine moved to silently close the distance between them. It was time for her to be found, wasn't it? His voice booming to better close the distance between them, he queried, "Don't suppose you're looking for trouble, are you?" Imperium's borders had been quiet as of late. There hadn't been any trespassers to maim or claim for awhile now and it was a crying shame. "Talk" "You" Think

Just as she expected, someone would find her lingering around the packs borders. She scented him before he arrived, though acted as if she hadn't detected him at all. As his booming voice touched her ears, she stopped and faced him, a calm and searching expression in her eyes as she stood without fear. He was certainly handsome, tall...Strong even. She stood confident, her stature unwavering but she did not stand with a dominant air. The last thing she wanted to do was piss off someone that could potentially try and take her, though she didn't know if this was the alpha either. Only one way to find out, right? A small laugh left ivory lips as she gazed at him, "Me? Why no sir. I was simply...curious, about this pack here." Dual toned tail would sway slightly with the breeze as she stood calmly, no provocative movements. "Are you the alpha or something?" He certainly seemed to act the part, so she knew the answer she was sure. But she wanted to be completely sure before saying more. Talk like this

The woman was quick to laugh off his question. So he'd get no action today, huh? Too bad! With a hint of a smirk pulling up the corners of his lips, Valentine, only half teasing, rumbled, "Too bad." She was a very pretty creature. He'd have jumped at the chance to force claim her to the ranks of the Consocia. Curious about the pack, huh? That sounded promising, although it had potential to nix whatever interest he had in her should she be wishing to join. That was a shame, really, but if she was as skilled as she was beautiful it would be a worthy trade. "I am the alpha," he confirmed. "This is Imperium and my name is Valentine." Searching her gaze for clues as to what she was after, he asked, "Curious, huh? Perhaps I can answer some questions." "Talk" "You" Think

Hm? Too bad? Man, this guy was big for his britches. Her tail slowly waved as she regarded him with untamed curiosity. She wanted to know more about him, wanted to know more about this place. So he was the alpha huh? No wonder he strutted his stuff. It was fitting she supposed, that such a man aired so much confidence. "Well Valentine of Imperium. It's a pleasure." A grin would tug at her lips, brow raising as his masculine voice boomed out. Watashinonamaeha Kasai-desu." She smirked, wondering if he'd catch the gist of what she'd said, which was really rather simple. She had introduced herself in her native tongue, and she would be rather surprised if someone here understood a thing she said. "A pretty name for a pretty boy. " She would move, walking towards him at a short distance as she decided to walk around him. Silver gaze locked on his, betraying nothing but curiosity and confidence. And perhaps a hint of something else. Mischief perhaps? Who knew. She inspected him as she walked a full circle around him, a low hum slipping past her tongue. "Not bad." She offered a greeting and then garbled out a couple of words in another language, much to Valentine's annoyance. It was already established that he spoke the one language, so why switch to another? Of course he could flatter himself and think that whatever she'd said was some kind of respectful something or other, but for some reason he just couldn't make himself believe that. So why then? To annoy him? To make herself feel superior? He made no comment on it, instead saying, "Likewise, it's a pleasure." Her next statement made his eyebrows rise in a question. Oh? He was easily flattered, especially by beautiful women, and this was no exception. Valentine would have stayed flattered too...had she not tried to circle him. What was it with women on his border thinking that was acceptable? This was the second time in a season that a rogue had done it. Thankfully this time this one wasn't trying to trade sex for passage through Imperium. Yet. Valentine bristled as the woman made her way around him. He loathed every second of it but held his ground; this was his territory and he would not be so easily manipulated. "Not bad," she commented just as he rumbled a warning growl.
