First Outing

The wolf navigated carefully, picking her way through the rustling thickets - Abaven's new land - with care. A squealing ball of fluff clung to her back, and Lillianna would laugh joyously at the creature. This was Farrym's first outing; he had never been out, and never been out of Abaven - with him nearing a season, she figured it was time for that as long as he stayed near her. In this case, it happened to be on her, something she certainly was not protesting.
"Mommyyyyy where are we goiiiing?" came yet another whine, a whine that caused her both to laugh - and be sorrowful. She had not... not gotten it in her to correct him, to tell him that he won't be like her; to tell him that he was very, very different. Tell him that she was not his mother. It just made her... cringe inside, but she would force that down, force her voice to be cheerful. "Can't tell you yet," she teased, forcing a quiet chuckle through.
It didn't take much longer to reach their destination, and she would stand there, gazing down at the lake with the fireflies swarming. Night had fallen, but it was a warm night - the fireflies had also not quite disappeared. A gasp, tiny and delicate, would be heard from Farrym as he scurried down her back and tried pouncing on one of the lights; another soft laugh would emerge. "Be careful," she murmured.

Note: Lillie has scars over her right eye and down her cheek. She also has scars under her chin and on her jaw. Her tables and art will most likely not reflect this. Unless it is specified otherwise, assume Lillianna is accompanied by her companion.
