Solaris felt terrible. Over the last few months something had felt so off with himself and he just couldn't put his paw on it. Physically he was fine, but emotionally he felt so out of sorts. He had been making himself scarce, going out in attempts to find whatever it is he thought he was missing, but no searching or wandering seemed to be helping. He had finally made himself return a few days prior only to find out that one of Voltage's children had gone missing. He was sick to his stomach from worry, guilt, and discontent. Solaris not only hated change, but he hated having situations that were out of his control.

As a little icing on his already disgruntled cake, he hadn't seen his twin in quite some time either. He wasn't sure if the two of them were just missing each other or if she had actually left. That added worry put more weight on his shoulders than he ever wanted. He frowned and stared out at the ocean from the cliff that the he and his celestial siblings had claimed as their favorite spot. It was where he came when he needed to relax and find comfort in the sun's rays, but even the sun's warmth wouldn't cut through this chill that had settled on him.

With a frown creasing his features he got to his paws and turned to make his way down the path from the cliff. He hated feeling helpless. He stepped back out onto the black sands of the beach and let his orange gaze rake the area, trying to find any of his family to see if there was something he could be doing. Anything to help or, better yet, keep his mind occupied was more than welcome.

Current didn't visit the beach any more, where hungry waves lapped menacingly against the shore. Since the day the ocean had turned against them, there had been a black mark against her soul. Not to mention the chill in her bones that never seemed to ease. She felt she would never be warm again, but nor did the temperature suit her body any longer. The heat of her families coats felt sickening and wrong to her and she shied from their touch. She deeply lamated the loose of her sister, her litter me and best friend. It had always been her snd illume right from the very start. They had done everything together and now that she was gone there was more then just thr pain of her lose... there was question of figuring out where current went from here. It was a question she was interested in answering and so she wondered aimlessly, attempting to keep away from her family and keep a distance from the ocean she despised.

She did wonder how many of them blamed her for illumes demise, after all if she hadn't slipped and gone under... if she hadn't.... her body shook and she shoved the thought away.
Without her minds consent, her body had taken her to the cliff top. Perhaps it was the thought of illume that had dragged her here. Her skyward sister had started to love this spot, it had begun to mean something to her. She had intended to sit their in silence and beg whatever guided their elemental nature to return illume to her. Instead, she would be greeted with the sight of one if her uncles, and she bowed her head and attempted to slip away.

Astrea had slumbered quietly, as was custom for her during the day. But as a shuffle of paws and a small sound of discontent reached her ears she eased out of her sleep. She blinked at the sun her half asleep mind trying to catch up with the rest of her when it finally came to her. She had not seen much of the other space loving siblings lately but she had seen Sol in passing and he looked worried and a bit lost, which was understandable because Selini was no where to be seen... Astrea got to her paws, she had wished her brother had come to her with his problems, after all that was what her role in the pack is. So she had waited for him to come to her... but it had been months it seems and she was tired of waiting. She got to her paws then and moved down the same path he had a little while earlier. As she came to the beach she stopped, for her brother was not alone. Voltages other daughter was with him... The talk would have to wait it seems... But she would have her little chat with her brother even if she had to be up when the sun was at it brightest everyday for a season.

Astrea approached the two when the young one looked about ready to bolt. Astrea smiled, she was not letting the little tyke go that easily. "Sol, little Current, how are you this..." She looked at the sun a small frown on her face. "Fine day?" She smiled at her brother then down at her niece. "I know we have not had much chance to talk..." She then gave her brother a pointed look. "But I wish to fix that in the near future. I am always available when a need to talk arises." She then looked down at Current. "I am all ears at any point in the day." She smiled at her, knowing that the girl must feel much pain over her sister. "For anything that weights your soul down." She hoped both of them understood her meaning. Astrea was here for her family, always and forever.
