It had started out with a twinge in his ear that he couldn't shake. He ignored it for a day and woke up with a splitting ache throughout the extremity. Rubbing his paw against it did little to rid him of the pain and he would finally reach the conclusion he needed a healer. He couldn't concentrate with the constant ache attacking him and he knew his mood throughout the day had simply gotten darker and darker. Snapping at gale was the last straw for him - he loved his little gust of wind and with a nuzzle of apology he went in search of Terrea.

It was about midday on a mild winter day when he trudged through the soft layer of snow to poke his head into the healers den he would discover that his brother wasn't home. Already sick of the ache in his ear he lifted his head and howled for his younger sibling, adding lior into the call for good measure, whatever healer was available would hopefully be able to fix whatever it was that was driving him mental.

He had now gotten into the habit of bringing a travel package of herbs whenever he left his den, even though not much remained for him to pack at all. It seemed like the longest winter he had encountered yet, and a harsh one for the herbs. Then there were the illnesses. The colder months seemed to be more popular when it came down to sicknesses, and were indeed good at emptying his supplies. He tried to be wary, but it wasn't like he could stop injuries. Wolves had to be healed - that was his duty.

Although he wasn't leaving Donostrea's territories, he had picked up a certain urgency in his brother's call. There was a chance it could be related to a sickness, and just in case it was, he brought a small leaf bundle with him as he hastily made his way around the beach. Approaching the larger male, he greeted him with a curt dip of his crown. "What is it, brother?" he inquired in a tone filled with concern.

It was entirely possible that there was more then just an ear ache troubling the giant. He felt restless and moody, his calm exterior was not easily broken and the mere fact that he had snapped at his gale was an indication of his mood. In truth, there was much weighing on the titan, and none of them where small matters. There was voltage, his dear brother, the Ying to the yang of his heart. He was never complete without him and even now with voltage aware of anais's situation and also a little more himself again despite what he had been through, but still glacier worried for him. His heart ached, for him. Anais was pregnant with his child and at least half his mind was capable of thinking on and fretting about her at any given time of the day. Was she OK? Was she resting? Had she eaten that day? Was she putting on enough weight for a pregnant mother? What if she wasn't, what if there was going to be complications with the birth? Glacier was going to go grey in a week if he kept this up.

No wonder the ear ache pushed him over board, shoving gale away had come too easily in the moment, through his stomach knotted once she was gone from sight. Somehow, he still held on to his frustration and was pacing back and forth across the earth, patting down a layer of snow who's his steps, wearing through almost to the grass beneath when terrea appeared. Seeing the worry in his brothers gaze deflated some of glaciers pent up anxiety and he deflated like a Ballon, bringing his paws to a halt he sat in the snow, tilting hid head to the side. "I've got an ache in my ear I can't shake. Some sort of infection perhaps? And... I don't suppose you have any herbs to calm a wolf?" He grimaced at the slight admittance to the knots tying his insides into cramps.

So his older brother truly was unwell, suffering from pain in his ear - an earache. Though it seemed minimal, it had to be stopped. The pain was one thing, rumoured to be almost as terrible as childbirth at the later stages of the infection. Then there was the infection itself - it could damage his brother's hearing if not treated in time. Hopefully he hadn't left it untreated for long. "If you don't mind my interrogation," he began with small smile. "How long have you felt the pain? How bad is it?" As much as he dreaded seeing his siblings in discomfort, at least he had enough herbs to heal this earache. In fact, it was the only herb that he had plenty of and wouldn't need to restock once spring arrived. Then he needed something to ease the worry from the male's mind, wherever that stress had arisen from. Surely he wasn't worrying about his earache; the healer was certain his hearing hadn't yet been affected.
