The one on one time she?d spent with Motif was exactly what she?d needed, even through the heat she could enjoy being by her sister?s side again. She felt bad for Bass though, he seemed rather torn up, and though she wasn?t great at expressing her emotions, or being there when someone was emotional, she?d do her best for her brother. Seeing a long lost sister would surely cheer him up right?

Her dainty dark paws would carry her to his den, her milk chocolate marked nose leading the way to his den. She?d left Motif at her own and now she?d make her way to the entrance that would hold Bass within. Ears would fall to her head as she let her body kneel, her features would poke into the entrance, a smile on her features as she took him in and asked his permission to enter. "Bass? Mind some company?"

Pain and sleep was all he had known for the last few days as he was healing. The worse of it was his fractured jaw, until the bone knit back together it hurt for him to talk. Being a very talkative male, it made him feel so... useless. He was glad to have Motif as his side as his Azgrat, she was dealing with all the alpha stuff while he healed. But he was getting awfully bored, just laying here in his stony den. At least he was able to look out at the lake before him, until a shadow blocked his way. Blinking his golden eyes to adjust to the lack of light, he looked up at his long lost sister and smiled, waving her in with a paw. It had been too long since he had seen her, but he had wished that she had shown up when he wasn't so battered and bruised.

Bass scooted over to the side to allow Rhythm some room, patting the soft bed of moss and lichen beside him. He knew that she had never been much of an emotional girl, but he still loved her dearly. "Miss you." He whispered softly, even the smallest movement of his jaw causing a flash of pain to radiate along it. He was told not to talk, but that was hard for the young king.

Speech,

The medic often visited the battered king -- to offer him herbs to speed his recovery, but not so many as to drug him and make him feel worse. Each visit she would present crushed ginseng root, lavender oil, and meadowsweet. The ginseng root served to reduce the king's stress so he could relax more easily, as well as increase his appetite, and the medic had made note to crush the root so he may ingest it much more easily with his fractured jaw. The lavender oil would aid in returning strength to his fractured mandibles as well as his bruised shoulder. The meadowsweet was more of a precaution: used for general pain relief to give him energy. As she would begin to move toward the stony den of Bass', memories would flash through her mind. The birth of Abaven seemed to be years ago, though it was only seasons ago: when she was a mere apprentice in the craft of healing then; and now she was an expert of herbalogy.

She would venture along the shoreline of the lake as she would see the stony den come to view, but this big brown thing stuck out of it. Curiosity and fear tugged at her to bound faster across the lands, mismatched gems struggling to decipher what was sticking from the den. If it were a bear, she would have gone in flying with claws and fangs to defend her poor brother, but it seemed to be Motif at first, until she caught sight of her tail. It was Rhythm. Though she was her sister and Bass had invited her inside his den, she wasn't quite happy she had not asked her permission, but she disregarded it with a simple shrug, approaching the den and nudging her sister aside to drop the herbs at Bass' paws. "Hello Rhythm. I'm just coming by to give Bass some herbs to help speed up his recovery." A warm smile would form upon inky lips as she would slide out and fixate herself outside the den, to allow Rhythm and Bass to spend some time together. "Your jaw is healing up well, but it will definatly be a bit sore and bruised for some time, to try to refrain from talking too much, and try not to place too much pressure on your bruised shoulder for some time until I can decide if it is alright or not."

She would watch as her newly wounded brother would smile, ushering her into his den beside him. She?d feel her own smile play across her features as she slipped in next to him. He?d offer her a place beside him and she would delicately curl into his side. Their sides would touch, and she?d offer him what comfort she could. She wasn?t so great at hugs and kisses. He?d whisper, obviously painfully that he?d missed her. She couldn?t say she felt differently either, that was her whole reason for coming here. To be here with her siblings.
Before she could return his words the form of Harmony would appear outside the den?s entrance, with what she would assume to be Bass?s daily rigimen of herbs. She couldn?t imagine the pain he?d gone through, physically obviously, but mentally was something different. She was a rather sore loser herself, but this was different. "Hello, Harmony." her smile would accompany the greeting as she went over Bass?s injuries. "You got roughed up brother."

He was about to greet Rhythm when Harmony made herself known, dropping more herbs before his face. Bass scoffed and turned up his nose, he was done with taking herbs. He didn't want any more of those nasty leaves, he just wanted to get out of this damn den. He was sick of being cooped up, he wanted to run with the wind and jump in his lake. His body still hurt though, and his mind ached even worse. The invisible scars that were left on his heart after that fight was more than any physical damage that had been done. Harmony told him more about how he was healing fine and that he still needed to rest, which caused him to roll his golden eyes. "Done resting." He barked softly, his gaze moving to his darker sister when she spoke.

Bass offered Rhythm a soft grin, stretching over and touching his nose to his shoulder. When he pulled back his eyes were quizzical as they studied her two-toned gaze, head tilting ever so slightly. "Stay?" He asked, a brow raising. He knew that she was stubborn, but he had gotten Motif to settle in after all. Chord was still a lost cause for now, but sooner or later he would bring his brother among his ranked wolves, he wanted the whole family to be together. His gaze slanted over to Harmony, the very tip of his salmon tongue poking out of his mouth. He knew that she would probably be mad about him not taking the herbs, but it wasn't like it was the first time that he had turned his nose to them. Bass was not a very... willing patient.

This was not close to the first time that Bass had turned up his nose at her herbs -- in fact, he turned them up each time she would bring them, and she would end up having to manipulate the poor king into eating them. It seemed as if she were taking care of a rebellious pup... but well... Bass was one. She would silently begin to rethink the desires instilled by the hormones from heat, but she shook her head at an unknown subject to her siblings as she would give a stern grunt. "Bass. I know you don't like the taste of them, but if you really don't want them, you can skip today, but you will probably feel a bit more pain later. It's your choice." But the choice he would make was so very obvious: No. A playful roll of mismatched gems would be given as she heard her brother scoff, wishing to stand and run. "I'm sorry, bro. Maybe in a couple days I'll let you go out and stretch your legs like the energetic little boy you are." A chortle would escape inky lips as she gently tapped Bass's muzzle with her tail's tip, before she would lie down, content and relaxed.

Such terrible scars would mar the King's muzzle, yet he knew he was strong. "I know you're strong... and even if you weren't, Abaven would follow you to the end of time." She would gently lick his crown, nipping his ear gently.

She would smile and listen at the back and forth between Harmony and Bass, apparently her brother was quite through his resting. Even so, Harmony was still supportive of him and so was she. He?d nuzzle her softly as he found her gaze once again, a quizzical expression on his features. Bass would ask if she wanted to stay. She wasn?t sure at first, and she?d be quiet for another moment as he turned his head from the medicine. Was she ready to settle back down? The whole reason she?d come out here was for her siblings, it was convenient how they were all in one place. She?d find herself nuzzling her brother?s shoulder, "Only if you want me to stay, Bass." The corners of her lips were pulled back happily, she?d happily do anything for him.

The brute grinned at both his sisters, nodding his head at Harmony for her and her kind words. He was nothing without his family, they held him up in all of this. He was just eager to get back out there and get back to the way things were, maybe that would help him get over these things. Rhythm spoke then, saying that she would stay if he wanted her too. "'course. Rank?" He asked again, looking excitedly between the two females. He almost had all his siblings here! Just needed to convince Chord to settle down, although he was very sure that he would take a little bit to decide on that.
