Fog consumed the ground as the male walked slowly across the moor. The world was embracing the season of Spring, and he was a lone wanderer. With unintentional quietness, the fog seemed to swallow him as well as the world around him. How long had he been gone? How long had he become separated from them all? He could remember these lands as if it were yesterday, and yet...it seemed so quiet and desolate. Where was Valhalla? Where was...Ashtoreth? Cador? Vaishya? Erani? He had been gone for so long, he had no idea that the majority of Adravendi's had, like him, disappeared and faded away. What about his cousin Syrinx? He shook his head, stopping in his tracks as he tried to find his bearings. The moor brought a sense of calm, the fog tendrils snaking around his legs as the mist coated his form. He felt like a ghost of his self, old and no longer in his prime. Blue eyes looked around him, and all he could see was the desolate, hidden landscape and the light that tried to pry it's way to the ground. He shivered for a moment as the chill of the fallen winter season was left behind, and the male would raise his head to howl. Where is everyone?

-Set after Soren finds out Kismet is missing-

Once upon a time he had hid here, the monochromatic wolf had come here as a boy to brood and be allowed to be alone with his thoughts. But Kismet had found him, as the red faced boy always had. At the time Soren had hid his relief at his brother companionship with sharp words and hard looks… now more than anything he wished his brother would once more seek him out… But that was just it wasn’t it? Soren had spent so much of his life pushing his brother away for fear of being abandoned once more that he had caused it.

Kismet had left for places unknown and never once sought him out to let him know. That knowledge stung more than anything else Soren had been burdened with. It hurt than when their mother had fled without a word, it stung more than the months of torture under his father’s imprisonment, it was the deepest wound he could have ever sustained. Kismet had been the only constant, even when they had parted ways Soren had made a point of telling him where he was planning on going…

And now? Now all Soren wanted was to see his brother’s face again. Maybe that’s why he found himself propelled through the fog, gliding through the mist. Hazels scanning for a familiar face and though he’d find it would not be the one he was expecting, nor one he would be able to place right away.

And yet there was no denying the slight tug at his memories the form of the elder wolf brought up. Soren stopped in his tracks, paw lifted mid step. Slowly he lowered the long, graceful limb. Unsure exactly how to proceed; he wasn’t even sure the male had seen him but he also knew the more he moved the more likely it was he would notice him before he could make a hasty retreat.

"Speech"

The world around him felt almost surreal. Valhalla's scent completely gone, not a trace of it left. He'd been gone for so long, he wasn't sure why he expected it to still be here...but still, he had hope. And now it faded. Shaking his head, he continued on his silent path, that is...until a vaguely familiar scent crossed him. Pausing, the old male scented the air, and while it was muted, he felt like he knew who it was. He cast his gaze across the land, and in his field of vision he would find another standing a good distance away. Leon simply stared for a moment, trying to recollect his memories about the scent. It dawned on him then, that it was family. With hesitant eagerness, the male moved to close the distance between them, stopping several feet away from the younger male. Blue eyes sought the gaze of the other, a single word forming from his lips. "Soren?"
