Neith led her sister back through the snow, surely this was much easier for Kalli than bowling through on her own. Not that she could obviously care for herself, Neith always worried about her sister more than she should. She still felt bad about being so scarce recently too. There was nothing that could change that though, and here they were. The only actions the Moria could take would be for the future. Starting now. Kalliope was going to meet her daughter.

Eisleif was getting to be about six months old, just learning how to hunt. Of course she already knew the basics and had killed a few hares that had been brought home for her to practice on. Neith would be sure her daughter was a fine hunter and able to feed herself even in the harshest of winters. "We're almost there," she'd tell her almost sister. "You can't cross the border, but Eis can come to us." She was a strong little girl, and Neith was incredibly proud of her.

Eventually they would make it to the scent marker, and stopping a bit away the dark woman would tilt back her head. She'd call for her daughter, but also to let her pack and higher ups know there was a guest at the border.

Kalliope followed Neith toward the pack that her and her daughter apparently called home. Normally she didn't like to have to be led, but even she could admit that in this circumstance it made getting where they were going much easier. Snow always threw her off since she couldn't feel the ground with her feet as well as she usually did. Plus the snow made all of their steps too loud and muffled all at the same time. No, for now she would willingly let Neith guide her She listened as Neith explained that she couldn't go over the border but that her niece would come to them. She nodded in understanding. Her time in her old pack had taught her well enough how packs worked and that crossing any of their borders uninvited was a no no, weather her sister lived there or not. She felt Neith stop soon after and she would come to a stop beside her. She could easily smell the scent markers along the border and she was careful not to go over them. She settled on her haunches to wait for Eisleif to arrive, excited to meet her new family member of sorts.

Eiselif was quick to come to her mother's call, though it was very odd for her to be asking the young girl to come to the border. The Finnvi was incredibly curious, and wouldn't disobey her mother, so she would navigate the snow as well as her six month old paws would carry her. She could tell that the warmth was coming, the snow was no longer as plentiful as it had once been, but that didn't mean it still wasn't frigid. As her striped form made her way towards the call she'd eventually see the second shape beside her mother's darker one. Tilting her head curiously as she approached she couldn't help but be confused. This woman didn't look like anyone she'd ever seen before. The bright peach on her back, her clouded eyes... "Yes, Mother?" She'd ask as she hesitated slightly on the border, what was going on?

They would fall into a calm silence as they waited for Eisleif to arrive, Neith had taken the time to groom at her sister's fur, gently and affectionately like she'd used to do when they were younger. It would bring a peace over the dark woman, and she'd find herself smiling as Eisleif's approach would be heard. Bright volet eyes would find the young girl as she came to a halt, looking as confused as her words sounded. Neith would chuckle slightly. "Don't look so concerned." She'd tell the girl a sshe stood back up, motioning her to come closer. "I've brought you to meet your aunt Kalliope, my sister." She wouldn't go into explaining the family history, in simplest terms Kalli was her sister and would every bit be Eis's aunt. "Kalli, meet your niece Eisleif."

Neith's gentle grooming made her smile. It brought back so many memories. So much had changed in what felt like such a short amount of time... In reality it had been years, but her days were spent basically just surviving and doing nothing so they all seemed to blend together. She almost wished she had never left home. Would she still be with Neith and her family and her own father if she did? Or would they still have fragmented and scattered just the same? Of course there was no way for her to know, but she couldn't help but think of the possibility anyway.

Her ears perked when she heard paw steps coming toward them and she felt Neith shift away from her a bit, standing at her side. A new voice reached her ears then, questioning her mother. So this was her niece. She suddenly felt very self conscious and wasn't sure how to handle herself in this situation. It wasn't like she could look at Eisleif and comment on how pretty she was or joke about how she looked so much like Neith or not... What was she supposed to do now? She tired to shake off her nerves and smiled, saying, "It's nice to meet you, Eisleif."
