The young prince stepped easily out of the den, his bright hazel eyes full of curiosity as he took in the outside for the first time. Of course the adventurous little Adravendi had gazed upon the outside, but he'd never been this close. Hanging out of the entrance, only his front silvery toes feeling the foreign dirt. He was very quiet though, he'd show his awe with silence and his bright eyes. He wasn't trying to be sneaky with the quiet, he was more comfortable in the silence. With great care he'd turn back to search for a silhouette of a sibling or parent. While he was content to explore on his own, he found he would much prefer a partner. Someone to see things for the first time with, or one to guide him in those adventures. Either way, the boy was eager to be out. His little dark tipped tail would wag expectantly, but his little jaws would remain closed.

She was lost. Very lost indeed. Panic gripped her chest as she frantically looked around for her mothers, ever so dependent on her family. The cream-furred girl had wandered out of the den, following what scent of her mothers' she could follow until she found herself deep in the mangroves, scared of the outside world. Where were they? She was so afraid. If only they could pop out from the trees and cuddle her and tell her that everything was alright. She wanted to call out to them, shout at the top of her lungs but wasn't confident enough to do so. Only tears pricked at the corner of her eyes as she began to walk in a random direction, continuing on with her aimless search. Her emerald eyes were cast to the ground until she finally looked up to find a ash-pelted boy standing by a den. Instinctively she froze in a frightened stance, adrenaline returning to her veins. No, this was not a good day.

The young boy would stand there at the entrance for a good long while, taking everything in slowly. It was nice to have his back feet in the den too, then he couldn't really get in trouble for leaving. He had much to look at and take in, the most interesting of which was the sudden appearance of another young pup. He'd blink at her, curiosity evident in his features. She seemed.. scared? He'd feel his heart beats increase. Why was she afraid? What was there to be afraid of? Worriedly he'd look around, sure he might see one of the bears or wild cats his parents spoke of to keep him in the den. Elias didn't see anything though. Slightly disappointed and much more curious now his hazel eyes would fall back onto the other pup. She was quite a bit bigger than he was, so what did she have to worry about? He'd tilt his head and peer at her. Finally the young Adravendi would just break the silence, "H'llo." A pup of many words.

Though the boy was noticeably smaller and younger than her, she couldn't help but to remain afraid. He was a stranger after all, and she was easily frightened by unfamiliar faces. She hadn't seen him at the last meeting, so was he one of those 'pack-mates' that her mothers spoke of? Even if she could trust him, she just didn't want to be around him. Ebony paws started to edge away, hoping he hadn't seen her though it was obvious he had. He even greeted her, which made her heart pound in her chest. Oh, what was she to say? The girl hesitated uncomfortably for a few moments as she tried to summon enough courage to speak. "H-h-hello," she managed to choke out, praying he wouldn't start asking questions like every other stranger she had met had.

Even with his confirmation of there being no danger she seemed terrified, it was odd. He had never felt so scared that he would cower before anyone. Not that he'd found himself in any dangerous situations, this being his first time out of the den and all. He'd peer at her curiously, she looked like she wanted to run, was she really scared of him? No one was scared of him no matter how hard he tried. For a moment he was tempted to jump at her or say 'boo' but he wasn't that cruel of a child. Still even after she said hello back he'd be curious, and curiosity bred questions. "Wha' chu' so 'fraid of?" He couldn't help but ask as his little rump lowered to the ground, his body still half in and half out of his parent's den. His tail would wag, quite happily as he watched her, the complete opposite composure of the young girl.

That question had to be asked. He had to ask why she was afraid. Was it that evident upon her features? Could he see she was scared? Well, that made things worse for the girl. First she was in the general presence of a stranger and now she had to talk to him! Couldn't he tell he was the reason she was so afraid? Calm down, her thoughts urged. Just pretend you're talking to mama. She'd try to do that, though it was difficult to imagine. "N-N-Nothing-g," she answered with a sniffle, trying to stop herself from stuttering and sounding like a nervous wreck. Hopefully he would drop the subject, or even ignore her and recede back into his den for her to run off with relief.

"Listen to me talk," 'but read my thoughts.'

Svetlana had been dosing, curled up in the den with her little babies all by her side. Well... Only her daughters were little. Her sons were both easily much bigger than their sisters, promising to have a much taller stature by the time they were adults. Her eyes were closed and, for a few minutes, she hadn’t even noticed that one of her babies had slipped outside the den.

It would be Korrin who noticed the youngling of her friend and Leo almost outside the den. The other youngster wasn’t one she knew but, judging by it’s markings, it was likely Amalia’s daughter. The polar fox would pad up behind the other she-pup, in view of Elias, fixing him with a hard warning stare. The boy hadn’t technically left the den though, being half in and out, so she couldn’t really reprimand him. With a soft sigh the fox would turn her attention to the girl child.

“Is Girlie lost? Should Korrin help Girlie home?” The polar fox would glance again at Elias, just in case he had more information on the subject then the girl was willing to provide.

It was Korrin’s voice that woke Svetlana. She would open her eyes, blinking as she looked up at Elias’ rear end. “Elias?” The mother would ask sleepily. “What are you doing?”

Alfred had not only been sleeping, but he had been snoring peacefully beside their mother when he suddenly felt her stir. Hearing her voice would cause the young pup to awake fully and, within a matter of moments he was on his paws! Alfred would glance towards his sleeping sister, then at his mother, and then to Elias. Without waiting, or asking permission for that matter, the young boy would move up beside his brother in his little space half in and half out of the den. “What’s going on?” That was when he saw the little she pup, his tail starting to wag a mile a minute. But she looked scared! Was it Korrin? Was Korrin the one scaring her? The boy would frown, glancing from Korrin, to Elias, to the girl.

"Speech"

Elias would watch in wonder as his nanny the polor fox appeared behind the frightened girl. He'd tilt his head curiously as his eyes grew a bit winder, he'd just come out of nowhere! He'd listen, that fact was obvious in the way his ears were perked. He hadn't missed the warning glance either, but there had been no reprimand. So he'd keep relaxed, sitting there comfortably at the entrance of the den as his mother called up to him. His attention was brought back to the den, his expression innocent as he peeked back down. He'd smile happily at her as Alfred appeared beside him. This would again cause his focus to return to the little lost girl and the fox. "Lost?" He'd half answer and half ask as he looked from his brother, to his baby sitter, to the odd scared girl, and then back behind towards his mother for good measure.

At first things hadn't been too bad. She was barely managing the so-called "conversation" with the boy, and was doing a fairly good job of holding back her raw emotions. Then it took a chaotic twist, well, chaotic on Diana's part. A strange tri-coloured creature approached her, making the girl take a few steps back in fear. Her fur was fluffed out, ears pinned and fright scribbled all over her russet features. With a widened emerald gaze, she frantically shook her head, hoping it wouldn't get too close to her. What was it? Why was it talking to her? No, it wouldn't lead her back home! It would eat her up! If that wasn't enough, another pup had to emerge from the den, and he was just as big as her! No no no no no, she didn't want to be here at all! It was all to much for her; too many faces and words thrown at her. She just wanted to curl up into a ball and cry. Continuing to back away, she almost bumped into the creature, and she muttered a feeble apology. Tears pricked at the brim of her eyes, and when she realised they were there, she turned away and bolted off sobbing. She didn't care if she got more lost, she just wanted to get away from them. Far, far away.
