Starling was quite proud of his little protege. Despite the fact that she had had no healing knowledge, and the confidence of an anxious snail (just like him!), she had been quick to answer the call for aide and was quick to think to bring him his herbs, just as he had needed them. She had done just as he had asked, without needed to be told a few times, and though she had seemed rather...uncomfortable, she had done so well. So, he made up his mind. She was going to be his student, and he was going to teach her everything he knew. Oh, she had better be prepared, because he knew a lot. He smiled fondly as he looked down at the herb at his paws, his head tilted slightly. She had surprised him at the meeting, announcing she wanted him to be her mentor, and he had gone through his usual bought of anxiety. What if he was a horrible teacher, what if he couldn't teach her...but he had gotten over it. So, it was time to begin! Stella was off, looking for the young healer, to bring her to her first healing lesson, and Starling sat there, waiting. They would start with the basics, and move on from there.
